Dunno if this will get much interest, but I'd like to see if there is...

Essentially, I want a list of a roster (O, D & KR/PR, but not ST), comprised of the best Zeta players. Because there are so many players, I want 1-2 backups for each position. So there are 2-3 places up-for-grabs per position!

I want teams to nominate players, and link me to their team, so that I can judge for myself. Eventually (At the weekend, ideally), I'll make up the list and post it here. Consider it a Pro Bowl, of sorts!

* Each user, with a player or team in Zeta may nominate 10 players for the roster.

* Each user with a player or team in Alpha may nominate 4 players for the roster. This is mainly so you can take part, but also so that we have a bit of an unbiased opinion, too.

* You may nominate a maximum of 4 players from your own team, per user. This is to stop a team getting every member to post every player in a team, for example.

If multiple people nominate the same guys, I'll be more likely to give them my vote, too, assuming the evidence supports that.

The last nomination that I will allow is 11:59pm GMT, Friday.

Once nominations are in, I will look over the teams and select the final roster. The more evidence you give me of that player, the more chance they'll have of making it! And remember - It's not all about stats. It's about how well they play, too. For example, O-Lines that have tons of pancakes may sound great, but if you give up 4 sacks per game, you're not gonna make the roster!

When you nominate, give me the player name, position, team name (and link) of that player, and as many reasons why they should make the cut as possible.

My votes are as follows (I'm not linking the Titans guys because I know who they are! The links are just to help me look later on):

1) KR: Lee Webb, Tranmere Titans.
2 TD's, numerous broken tackles and an average of 40.3 yards per return. Conference leader in TD's, and Average.

2) CB: Phoenix Xavier-Xexes, Tranmere Titans.
3 INT's, 18 PD's and a FFumble, with only 39 Tackles. Gave up very few (I think 3, but I'd have to check) passes all season when playing man coverage - 1 from a pump fake, and 2 underneath. He may be my own guy, but he's a shutdown corner, and doesn't get the recognition he deserves, simply because QB's rarely throw his way.

3) FB: Lee Webb, Tranmere Titans.
4.5 YPC, 5 TD's, 102 broken tackles, 9 pancakes, 1 receiving TD. Yep, him again. He's the workhorse of the Titans offence.

4) HB: Nick Ford, Dublin Shamrocks.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=28637&playoffs=0
26 TD's, 145.8 YPG, 2,380 yards, 5 yard average. Downside? 9 fumbles.

5) QB: Chris Fionntán, London Rippers.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=239801&playoffs=0
18 TD's, 7 INT's, QB Rating of 85.7, 3,582 yards, 223.9 YPG average, 62.8% completion.

6) QB: ForZa AzZurRi, Rome Gladiators.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=176930&playoffs=0
23 TD's, 12 INT's, QB rating of 86, 3,659 yards, 228.7 YPG average, 61.4% completion.

7) CB: Cody Sharpedge, Dublin Shamrocks.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=272577&playoffs=0
11 INT's, 1 INT TD, 37 PD's, 49 Tackles. Conference INT leader by 5.

8) LOT: UwantaSack NotGoingtoHappen, Dublin Shamrocks
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=157643&playoffs=0
132 pancakes and a line that allowed only 3 sacks all season. Their entire O Line can go here, to be honest, but I'm only picking one, because there are too many Shamrocks already!

9) WR: Andre Reed II, Buffalo Buffaloes.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=229674
12 TD's, 1,440 yards, 90 YPG

10) WR: Devin Thomas ii, Buffalo Buffaloes.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=244075&playoffs=0
10 TD's, 1,075.5 yards, 67.2 YPG

The only person i want to nominate is LB James "The Animal" Laurinaitis. He finished the regular season with 169 tackles (14 TFL) which 2nd for LBs and 3 overall. He also had 2 FF (1 FR) and 10 PD.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=229968

Call me biased if you want but he's the only person I'm even going to bother to nominate from my marginal team.

He of the missed PAT that cost Rome overtime against the Rippers? Surely not, I thought that Tom was taking him outside for a good kicking after that performance?

Had an entire roster put together then reread OP and saw that only 10 could be submitted. So many deserving, so few included. Mine looks like a snub to London, Buffalo, the Frightened Irish and the rest. Not intentional fella's, I assure you.

I'll update this next time I get a chance.

Yes, I'm only saying 10, because otherwise I'll have several hundred to choose from, as teams nominate their entire rosters! I figured 10 was reasonable. Do you not agree? I could compromise, as long as it was sensible.

Thansk for Jake's recommendation, Tom! He'll be pleased!

Tom, Paid Sucka had a qb rating of 107.1 this season compared to Forza's 86. He was also second in passing pct at 72.4, led in ypg at 248.5, yds per att at 8.4, and td's at 26. All these stats while only having 29 attempts per game.

Forza is a great qb, but Paid Sucka had a better season imo.

As for the rest of my picks

QB Paid Sucka
HB D Money and Nick Ford
WR Andre Reed II and Smoke Screen
LB Jean Paul Sartre
CB Cody Sharpedge
OT UWantaSack NotGoingtoHappen and Peter Aikin
DE Woodrow Wilson II

I musta not clicked the regular season button on his page. I stand corrected and will change my selection to him then. That is a Rating that's definitely kicks ass and deserves the spot. Makes me wonder what else I screwed up... maybe I'll just say they all looked cute in their little football outfits.

Greatly appreciate it Tom. Forza is definitely a great qb and has had 2 awesome seasons. I'm just hoping my qb is not a flash in the pan and can show some consistency.
