Alright guys, since it is the weekend I have some time on my hands, so I decided to treat you guys with another Alpha Report.

Last Weeks Games:

(1) Melbourne Dreadnoks - (5) Tonga Havoc 44-20

(2) Papua New Guinea Cannibals - (3) Palau Pride 32-14

Time for the AC (Alpha Conference) Championship game every one. This is what every team has been playing for. The winner of tis game will move onto AAA. And it is going to be one hell of a game!

(1) Melbourne Dreadnoks vs. (2) Papua New Guinea Cannibals

These two teams are forces to be reckoned with! The last time these two teams collided it wasnt pretty for the Cannibals. Dreadnoks over the Cannibals 55-28. The Cannibals have grown a lot since then however, so dont expect a complete blowout again. Melbourne's offense reached over 600 yards of offense, and if the Cannibals want to win this game then they will have to shutdown their offense.

Here are some important match-ups in this game that could determine the winner.

HB- James Martinez(Melbourne) vs. MLB- DJ Bones(New Guinea)

Melbourne's running game was a huge factor in their offense this year, and looking at Martinez, you know why. He is a playmaker with an 157 yard per game AVG. If New Guinea wants to win this game they will have to shut down Martinez at any cost. And they might have to man to do it. His name is DJ Bones. 6'1" and 247 LBS he should be able to take care of Martinez, if he does his job. He only had 73 tackles in the regular season, and also missed 11 tackles with no FF, but even so, the Dreadnoks need to make sure they acknowledge the MLB.

Matchup Edge: Melbourne. It is hard for anyone to shut him down.

WR #1 Chad "slippery" Nomington(Melbourne) vs. CB#1 Easy Company Cries Like A Girl(New Guinea)

This is a very important matchup, and whoever wins will give their team a big advantage. Chad had over 1600 yards receiving this year and 17 TD's, so it will be hard for Easy Company to cover such a player, but Easy Company does have some rep of his own. He is a quality CB that has the ability to get some picks. His main job will be to not let Chad go deep, but can he do it? We shall see.

Matchup Edge: Melbourne. Although Easy Company is a respectable CB, he is a bit over matched.

QB Gunner Moschetti(New Guinea) vs Dreadnoks Secondary

Gunner is one of the Elite QBs of the league and tossed 33 TD's last year with a QB rating of 112.4, These are good numbers, but he will have to face a really tough secondary this week. Last time these two teams clashed he was able to gain 274 yards through the air. He also through 2 TD's, but through 4 INTS. Dreadnoks are strong and have depth all across the board in the secondary, so lets see how he can handle it.

Matchup Edge: New Guinea. This might be a little far fetched but I think that Gunner can have a good game if he keeps from turning over the ball.

Final Decision:

I think it will be a great game, and it might just come down to the 4th quarter before the winner is decided. Melbourne the upper edge is most categories, but if they have game planned enough then I think that they might be able to pull the upset. Lets see what happens boys!

The game will be covered on OTN( Oceania Television Network) so there is no reason to miss this game.

Place your bets boys!!

Great write up Deeds, This is going to be a very tough game. I think we are both evenly matched so its going to come down to gameplanning and turnovers. Whoever the sim decides to give the turnovers to is going to come out on top in this one. Best of luck to the Cannibals but just to throw this out there, if you guys "happen" to lose, we have imported a tanker truck full of the finest plumpest Belgian Toddler's, legs still attached....A loss and they are all y ours we have a map with the tankers location and as soon as the game is over you can have the coordinates.
