In all honesty, I am speechless. We were hoping to make it a decent game for three quarters (as you could tell by my PM). I think if we played ten times, you guys beat us 9 of those times, but that 10% chance we had to win popped up for us. It was the same feeling we had last year when we got lucky enough to play the Bats for the conference championship. We had a very tough first round game against Rutgers and then an original season 1 team in NSDK for round two. The Bats did the dirty work for us and took out our nemesis the Mole Rats. It was a sad day in Chicago, but that just sums up that the playoffs are f'n crazy and anything can happen. Look at the West side for instance. Who would of thought that an 8 seed would not only be beating high seeds, but clubbing the shit out of them? Just crazy and lots of parity in this league.

I cannot believe this might be the last time we play Rutgers. Whatever happens, good luck and let's make it a great game.

Really.. the regular season Rutgers-Chicago game was a shootout, 37-44 won by Chicago. Thus you're going to get a nice home playoff game ticket sales and concessions.

No idea what will happen in our game. In regular season, We (Rutgers) lost far too often.. looking downright average at times. In the playoffs, like Chicago, we have knocked off some very good teams.

Looking forward to the game.

Some of you are probably reading around the forums and I just wanted to make clear that the post I made in the "bugs" forum is not to whine about our loss. I just want an answer to what happened.

Cav, I hate to tell ya bud but it sounds like someone misused firebug. It would be nearly impossible for it to happen any other way.

That would have been the easy answer and it would only be a mistake, I can live with that, no problems. But I'm afraid that some other bug has caused this. The person in question has given me a detailed explanation and it checks out, he even emailed me the screen shots. As I wrote, I would bet Julius Dee on that we are not the victim of sabotage.

Anyway, I only want to get an answer, just for my own piece of mind. I guess you understand that this is a pretty frustrating way to end our season.

I totally understand. We put a lot into this game, and then to have it all fall apart due to a glitch would make me insane.

I really didn't want to post this since I don't want to take anything away from Chicago, but since I felt that I couldn't move on with this game without an answer to what happened i decided to make a post in the bugs-forum. I hope that this isn't taken as us being sore losers.

Oh, in your shoes, I would be devastated bro. I didnt mean to diminish what happened by any means.

If I am not mistaken something happened last season with a team getting hacked and their settings changed. Bort then started a log that he can look up all changes and who did them. I think that is what those people were referring to with the "donged" term.

I think a lot of us have had problems with the AI this season for one reason or another. I don't take it as sour apples. No one likes to loose that way.
