Now that I'm over being upset about the Kigali loss (good game Sierra Leone), I can make my predictions!

Lion Conference

1. Tijuana Thundercats vs. 4. Mozambique Starvin Marvins
Two great teams go at it. I think Tijuana faded too much at the end of the season to be taken seriously.

Mozambique 24 - Tijuana 17

2. Beltway Bandits vs. 3. Red Sea Wave Matchup
Beltway is my odds on favorite to win the AAA sweepstakes.

Beltway 34 - Red Sea 17

Elephant Conference

1. Ghana Buffalos vs. 4. Cairo Crocodiles
Cairo had a great run this year, but I believe the buck stops here.

Ghana 28 - Cairo 24

2. Kinshasa Rumblers 3. Sierra Leone Magicians
If Sierra Leone's opportunistic defense can keep it up they win this game. However, I'm guessing Kinshasa is voodoo proof.

Kinshasa 28 - Sierra Leone 27

Here are my predictions:

Lion Conference

1. Tijuana Thundercats vs. 4. Mozambique Starvin Marvins
This is arguably my favorite matchup of teams in the playoffs. Will boosting early hurt Mozambique? Will Robb get his wish of a Beltway v Marvin matchup? I think the Marvins will escape with some late 4th quarter magic.

Mozambique 21 - Tijuana 20

2. Beltway Bandits vs. 3. Red Sea Wave Matchup
Beltway right now just looks unstoppable. One of the most complete teams top to bottom in the league. The Red Sea will make it a game for 3 quarters, but Beltway will be too deep and too strong.

Beltway 28 - Red Sea 13

Elephant Conference

1. Ghana Buffalos vs. 4. Cairo Crocodiles
Cairo had a great season, but I think the boosting early is going to be costly. Ghana is legit and I think they make it to the finals from the Elephant.

Ghana 24 - Cairo 17

2. Kinshasa Rumblers 3. Sierra Leone Magicians
A great game earlier in the year, but Kinshasa's running game was too much. I think Doryano learns from the past and the boosting late will help the strong balanced offensive attack will prove too much for the Magicians.

Kinshasa 34 - Sierra Leone 24

If you are just saving your boosts til Beltway(I haven't seen a huge jump in numbers, although admittedly I haven't been following to carefully) you better hope you win. If you did boost after the playoffs, I still think you both win, but as it stands at the current moment I think it's Beltway v Ghana in the finals.

I think I saw a few Marwins boost just before our game, but I might be mistaken.

37-19 Kinshasa wins. Boosting late really helped them here. We had one guy quit on us and not boost, but even with him boosting we would have lost, Kinshasa is a tough team and they played a great game.

Good luck the rest of the way, Kinshasa!

Good game Ghana....we tried, but it just wasn't meant to be. Good luck the rest of the way.

Hmm, I actually expected us to win with better strategy, but I feared that your higher leveled defense would keep us down, and it seems like it did, 2 nasty interceptions in the redzone, URK.

Best of luck to Ghana Buffalos, hope to beat both Marvins and Beltway in next season.
