Lyon Demons @ Lyon Hippos
This is probably the game of the season let alone week, can the Hippos avenge their only defeat of the season in the Battle of Lyon round III (remember there was an ACTUAL battle of Lyon!!)?
It's going to be trench warfare (did they have trenches in 197AD?) these are the top two rushing teams in the league and one of them also has the best rushing D in the league, so...can the demons get past the River Horses..again?
They managed it once and on the ground as well, clocking up an impressive 253yrds in their first meeting, thats almost half of the rushing yards the Hippos have given up all season, how did they do it? hopefully Redman will share his secret if the demons get promoted this season so at least one team stands a chance next season hint, hint!
The Hippos also have the most productive offense in the league this season with 62 sacks, 164 hurries & 38 INT's...hopefully drunkenmonkee will share his secret if the Hippos go up!
I dont know who i want to win...do i want to beat the Hippos or have a productive D next season? it's a tough choice...and one i;m not going to make, may the best team win!!

NFLUK Dover Vikings @ Venice Romantics
Both of these teams have a top 5 aerial offense, one has a top 5 Deffense...hopefully the offense will come out on top!
For the Romantics their Defense revolves around the sacks of DE Jordan Handrich, for the Vikings it's the INT's of CB Donte Stoner, it's possible Stoner will come out on top with Venice QB Jason Standridge in the top 10 for INT's thrown and the Vikings D-Line only giving up 7 sacks all season 5th best in the league, but this game is not that simple...this is the playoffs!! (look at the tension i can build!!!)
In the last few games the Vikings have struggled to stop the passing game and the Romantics have one of the best around (i've already mentioned that haven't i!!?). This is a tough game for all concerned and i would like to wish DreamGirl & all at the Romantics a good game....i'm going to bottle this one as well...thank you and good night!






FINE......Hippos by 7, Romantics by 3.....Ouch...there i said it...are you happy?....i'll spend the rest of the day crying now...you bullies!!

Good predictions as always. Big call on the Hippos win. 7 points has been our biggest defeat this season, but I guess if anyone can match it the Hippos can. We got the best GMs in the business seeing to it that it doesn't happen.

The other game is a blockbuster as well. Sorta hoping for a Dover victory in the sense that I've got unfinished business (x2. They knocked us out last year as well) and that the Romantics handed it to us last game. All irrelevant if the Hippos win though.

I think the boosting ability of your team before the playoffs really pushed you over the edge (quite a far way it appears). You played your cards right and you obviously have an absolutely brilliant squad. I really cannot see you losing to any team in this conference or Alpha. Say hi to Koncorde for me when you smash them in AAA.

congrats to everyone who advanced to the next round. great game by NFLUK for taking out Venice. i'm looking forward to seeing how the minotaurs fare against the dream bolts.

although i didn't expect such a wide margin of victory against the demons, i knew throwing 4 INT on 23 pass attempts was not going to happen again. and the fact that we saved out boosts till the end of the season helped as well. looking forward to meeting the NFLUK in the the next round...may the best team win!

Great game DreamGirl & everyone involved with the Romantics i really thought you had us today, especially after those two sacks on the opening play of the game!!
