GG Crush - You guys played tough. You have the most under-rated team in our division. I'm sure you will be a major threat next season. Gave us a real scare in 1st half.
Great Great game between #1 sofia and #8 dallas

For anybody that cares, I do a headlines section on my team site. Here is what I come up with for this amazing game.
This was an amazing game from start to finish but in the end the Spiders hold off to win against the #8 seed Dallas Galaxy. ishak wanabe got the scoring started early in the first and the Spiders went up 7-0 early. That didnt last long though as on the ensuing posession the Galaxy marched down the field and a Sean Salisbury pass to Max Pad for a 7 yard touchdown evened it out at 7-7. Then late in the first quarter Platnium Pat coughed up the football and the Galaxy took full advantage as on that drive just before the end of the quarter Salisbury connected with Max Pad again this time for an 8.5 yard touchdown to take a 14-7 lead. The Spiders got it back to even on the next drive with a .5 yard touchdown run from ishak wanabe to tie it at 14. The Galaxy would add one more score going into halftime with a Sean Salisbury pass to Open Deep over the middle for 11.5 yard gain and a touchdown. At the half the Galaxy held a 21-14 lead. J.C. Seneca would fumble on the Spiders first drive in the second half, but the Galaxy couldnt capitalize on this mistake as rather than going for a 45 yard FG, they elected to go for it on 4th and 8 from their own 28 and the rusher was stopped by N ONO of the Spider D. The Spiders then scampered down the field before they where halted at the 9 where Colton Montgomery knocked in a 26 yard FG to cut the deficit to 4. The Spiders took the lead early in the fourth quarter as Joey Blueskies sent a 9.5 yard touchdown pass to Kaimana Sato to take the lead 24-21. It was another short lived lead as the Galaxy marched down the field in commanding fashion chewing up a lot of clock and eventually taking the lead again with a 3.5 yard touchdown strike to Kevin Pittsnogle with 4:10 left to go up 28-24. Sofia was able to get the ball to the Galaxy 41 before running into a 4th down. With 1:56 left Joey Blueskies pass to Platnium Pat up the right side was deflected by Doh Mighty and the Spiders where in desperation mode needing a big time play from their defense. Their prayers where answered as on the very next play Max Pad catches a ball and gets lit up by John Kayoss and coughus up the football. It would be recovered by T Oby of Sofia who took it 49 yards to the house. With only 1:38 left the devastated Dallas team wasnt allowed to gain another yard on the day and Sofia escapes with the win. Next up for Sofia, the #5 seed Saratov Swift Sharks who edged by the Budapest Samurais 27-23.

Good game Rome -- We (Terlingua) played our best defensive game of the season and, by roll of the dice, it just happened to come against you guys. Your QB scared the crap out of us going in, as did your D-Line. You guys have a good team, hope you keep it together and make another run next year!

That seems a bit risky..
You guys having fun over there, and it sounds like the spiders discovered just how big a Galaxy is, and almost lost their way back to the water spout.

Does the offensive AI allow you to drain the clock and take a knee? That's all Dallas really had to do.

Nope. Have to play the full game out. Just like you can't go for 2, etc.

We knew it was going to be tough. In fact, based on the matchups they where the toughest team in this side of the bracket.
We got lucky no doubt, but we got all our bad luck out vs. the Wheatfield in the reg season
