lets talk all things playoff, now that we're actually in them, I feel i can participate in a playoff thread.

Regardless of the outcome im proud of our team for pulling together and making a hell of a run to get here. even though we "did nothing great", I think we did pretty damn good. It's safe to say Cork City has arrived.

When I looked at this I expected to be some brainwave about the crazy Cork sack machine but when I clicked on the players.....well this is far funnier!!! She will definitely collapse and be useless today so it's hooray for Belfast

Now that's funny right there.

a fairly straightforward start to the playoffs - the only upset being Bow Street over SYS (ace as tits). you can imagine how elated we are, so no need to go on and on about it.

Alpha Fixtures:

Commandos vs. Stingrays - should be a top match this one. commandos have a definite edge, but this will be in no way a walkover.

Runners vs Rabid Mutineers - The recent league game was a close run contest with Ikk Fu coming out on top, but after overcoming SYS Bow Street are in with a shot at another upset. another very close game, with Ikk Fu having the advantage here.


PS. Apologies to Zeta for not putting their games here - i havent time to follow two conferences so itd be great if someone else could have a go.

Can't believe we beat S Yorks. Most exciting game I've been a part of.

Having just looked at the IKK - Glasgow game, that's a heartbreaking 4th qtr for the Lions.

That was incredible - I thought SYS were going to pull it out on us, but we held fast at the end. I don't remember being that tense watching a game on here before.

That was immense. SYS are too good to ever count out. If we don't make it all the way then I'm really looking forward to the rematch (or was this the rematch after we were close regular season? whatever.)

Bring on IKK.

Things are certainly hotting up in Alpha

The Stingrays are the only team to defeat us this season and IKK and Bow Street have been two tough teams since the start of this league.

Gona be close games!

I don't know. I think it was more your WRs than the QB. The QB should have been picked off a few times, but your WR are good at catching, even with great coverage.
