I think most of us on Liverpool are going to take a nice vacation from the game and get our heads right. With all the Bort/DigitalDagger changes and Offensive AI quirks it's just time to step back and breath a bit. We wish you all good luck during the play offs and look forward to kicking the crap out of you next season!!

By the way, I've made a suggestion on the ... well, suggestion forum. It's actually something like my 5th posting and it just keeps getting bumped or moved or whatever else. Take a gander on it. I think the Devs/Admins in this game will only ever pay attention to a post that has 1000 replies to it or something because for 3 weeks my posts haven't been responded to once.

Cool thanks. The idea 2, what I meant was that I work up all my inputs via excel, well I should say I work up 3 particular sections via excel and that is why I want to import with some kind of tab delimited text file or excel itself. There is a way to transfer your AI from one team to another, but that doesn't help the day to day game changes because I won't have the same percentages from one team to another.

Thanks for replying to the thread though, I'm currently working on a GreaseMonkey script that will add up the inputs automatically so I don't have to wait for Bort to do that.

I'm not sure if I can make a script to also set the order of inputs, but I'll try that too. I've done some programming before, but it's my first time with Greasemonkey... so we'll see how it goes.

Good luck with it and WHEN you finish it, post it up here, I would welcome using it.

I think one of us is confused... outputs dont have to be "ordered" they are percentage based, it reads all outputs everytime it encounters an input and decides which output to use based on the percentages you associate to it....

Ordering outputs is not necessary...

I do a lot of my work via excel using formulas that are generated from positions, past tactics, previous game outcomes, and a couple of other things. These forumulas then spit out the % that I give certain outputs. Now, my Inputs, have several outputs assigned to each of them (let's just say 10 to make it easy) and these outputs are in a certain order on my excel sheet. I created the outputs to be the same in my AI originally, but it did not save it in the order I created it after a couple updates. I have so many Inputs that I don't want to go in there and delete all my outputs under them just so it can be rearranged to match my spreadsheet. That is why I want it to save in the order I input it or at least let me move them up or down so that it's easier to transfer my data over.

A long answer, but hopefully that cleared it up for ya.

Uh, you are a little more detailed than I am...
But my reasoning is the same. I use blitz names for different alignments and such. If I have 5 or 10 different blitzes coming out of one package then I may have those same 5 or 10 blitzes based on a different formation. I want to be able to add them in a particular order to make sure I don't miss any of them.

For whatever reason when you save them it will reorder them based on something...

Then I am back to hunting to see if my blitz package is there.

Yeah, even without the use of a spreadsheet, it'd be nice to have a set order that you're used to just to make sure that everything is there. I don't know why they don't put this in... would be so easy to do and save a lot of time for the data entry.
