Will the upset bug finally bite?

Bull Vs. The Red Bulls If the Bulls hope to pull off another win over the Red Bulls they'll need to step up and have their best game of the year. Course I'm pulling for the Red bulls to win so we can get back home field advantage for the conference championship game.

Titans vs. Tsunamis: Course the Tsunami's owned the regular season matchup. That lost caused the Titans to reevaluate their entire offensive playbook. Will it be good enough to outscore the tsunamis?

I'm pulling for a Red Bulls vs. Titans conference championship game. Mainly because it give us home field advantage and more playoff cash.

Booooo. I'm pulling for a Bulls/Tsunamis matchup just to spite you, then. Well, actually, I kind of want the Bulls to win for other reasons, and I'm agnostic as to your game as I don't really want to face either team (if we somehow beat the Red Bulls, can we play the Venom instead?).

You've got to play one of us and since you beat the hell out of us we're probably be the best choice. I'm all for losing to you guys, provide you forfeit the home field advantage to us.

Yes, but you've turned your team around substantially since then, so our first game wouldn't give me much comfort (and last season still weighs heavily on the mind). Of course, if we're both fortunate enough to make the championship game, then we wouldn't be above trading virtual cash for a virtual win [NOTE TO MODS/ADMINS: Haha, just a little joke. . .no hypothetical virtual game fixing going on here.]

It's all an optical illusion. I paid off those teams to allow us to win. You shouldn't take us seriously at all. We'll never make it their anyway after playing the role of Chinese dissident standing in front of the Tank that is the Tsunamis.

Note to mods/admins.......no actual payoffs were harmed in the making of this post.

+1 for Red Bulls, for home field (sorry but its business )

no idea we had that kind of impact of the Titans....it looks like it worked out though, since you have yet to lose since our regular season game.

to everyone in Zeta, will post up the final results of teh pro bowl tomorrow. Teams who have not yet voted has until then to get their vote in.

Well the loss to the Gangsters first got me to questioning some of my offensive playbook. I started working on a new playbook that would allow more versatility come game time but got sidetracked so it got put on the back burner. The loss to you guys brought it back to the forefront and it was finished and tested in time for my next game. I actually tested it on another team I OC where it passed with flying colors so it went live the next game and has had solid results since.

So if we do win it all I will make sure and give you guys proper credit for influencing our success before I accept the SE Asia #4 Championship Trophy.

And if we don't win it all, piss on you guys.

Can I just say that the Red Bulls are a ridiculously strong team, the seedings mean nothing, and that if the 'non-red' Bulls manage to win, it will be an upset?

(See, I thought the R. Bulls were the class of Zeta from Day 1, so just becuase they were playing possum and lost a few games in the regular season, I will feel no shame if we lose tomorrow. )

Also: Playoffs are dumb, regular season champs should be promoted, boosting should be outlawed, AA should be level capped at 27 for tomorrow's games, and that our microwbrew drinking, pearl dangling, cell-phone talking, private jet flying rich fans probably will provide absolutely no home field advantage tomorrow.

And go Titans. Just because if we manage to beat the R. Bulls, we still need revenge for last season's playoffs.

And if we lose, 31-1 regular season must count for something, right Bort? Right? right?

Exactly. I mean, we already have the promotion/relegation system in place, so why not take another page from European football and just have the regular season champs get promoted, with the playoffs (or Cup competition, as I'd like to call it) being a happy little way for the other teams to feel good about themselves.

Damn you, Red Bulls, you're inside our heads (your friendly against Death Valley required a change of pants).

Great humility, hopefully you guys don't beat us too badly. I am just hopeing that you don't beat us again for the sake of losing twice to one team in one season.

Good luck to your team, you guys have always had such class, and tomorrow's game should be a good one.

Gargus, that's a nice problem to have (players on two very good teams).

Good luck to you guys tomorrow as well, I just hope that your luck is slightly less good than ours. In fact, I have a player on a team where this happened today http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=134890&pbp_id=8562729 They were an 8th seed against the 1 seed, and were winning by 4 with 2 minutes left. . .I think we may need that kind of good luck tomorrow.

It's kind of funny, but yesterday when I realized we'd be matched up against you (thanks a ton, Razorbacks) I was kind of pissed off b/c you lot are so good. Now, though, after I've seen how your team has performed lately, I've kind of found a state of grace. If we somehow beat you, it will be a great win, and if we lose, at least we would have lost to the best team in Zeta.

EDIT: Sock, that's true, but our win earlier in the season was a bit flukey, and you guys have really gotten your game together lately.
