Okay here we go.
Crimson/Manhattan - First game we look at is proof that it's a fine line in this league that separates the playoff teams. Hardly what one would hope for as a #1 seed to start the playoffs. The upset victory for the 8 seed is a distinct possibility, but I'll pick the Marauders in a close one.
Vermont/Reamstown - Another classic battle. Reamstown had trouble with Vermont the last time they played and the task isn't any easier this time out. I'll take Vermont by 6.
the Brah/Rhode Island - it's been awhile since these teams have played and a fair bit has changed since that last meeting. It's still tough to not pick the Brah here however, although I suspect this is one of those classic games where if RI can make a play early in the game to swing some momentum they can walk with a win. I'll take NOLA but it's not an easy decision.
New York/Nashville - New York lost to them earlier in the season but have been playing very good ball of late. Nashville is also on a very impressive run of wins of late including a win over Vermont...I'll take Nashville to win.
Waller/Phoenix - I can't see Waller taking another first round exit this year. Knights by 14.
Putnam/Austin - This promises to be a solid game. Given Austin's inability to be consistent, I'll take Putnam to win this crucial battle.
Florida/Lemurs - We all know the FFB are capable of anything. This time however I think the Lemurs will learn from their previous defeat and pull off the mild upset.
Shriners/Vegas - As usual, I won't pick my own game...but Vegas is going to be a huge test. It is possible they are at this moment the toughest team in the west. They have good depth, great builds on their starters and if you look at their games they've done it all...tough to game plan for that when you have a team that ran the ball like crazy like they did at times and on the other hand pulled off a win over the talented Lemurs club without a single running play being used!!
