Ok regular season is finally done. Zeta has 7 teams with an 11 win season. Pretty impressive. Going to go through the listings of each game.

Round 1

#1 Russian Revolution

#8 Esgares Death Knights

I give much love to Esgares for what they have done from the start of the season to now. However.... they now meet Russian Revolution in a Week 1 rematch? How far has Esgares come since then?? Pretty far, however RR has proven to be near unstoppable and this is going to be a David vs Goliath that plays out with Goliath ruling the kingdom. I am going to give Esgares some love and predict a 28 point margin of victory to RR. Week 1 game = 41-3 Russians Results 66-0 RR


#4 St. Petersburg Red Tide

#5 Athens Demolition

This is another week 1 rematch between 2 teams who not only proved themselves to be winners but have a lot of lost love between them. After the 35-14 loss Athens took at the hands of the Red Tide they have been exchanging words all season. Both teams looked good all year and I believe this will be a very close match. As to predicting who will win? I wont be that stupid but will say its a win by 10 game. Results 34-17 Athens


#2 Saratov Buffalos

#7 Estonian Wife Carriers

Now this game is a little more recent and fresh on both teams minds. Week 15 meeting won by Saratov 17-3. Can EWC overcome Saratov and pull the upset?? Well the were able to break Alpha's Big Dog and running on a high from that game. will it be enough to carry their wives into round 2?? I predict a 10 win by Saratov. Results 41-7 Saratov


#3 Montenegro Meat

#6 Litochoro Cerberi

Wow not a week 1 rematch?? But still an early season game won in week 7 by M&M 41-3. The score showed a great mismatch but I believe it was a closer game then it would appear. How much so? Can never tell but week 7 to now has seen some changes in both teams skill wise. Hoping for a Litochoro win here as I am bias. But I will simply state the is going to be a difference of 1 score. The winner you all can debate. Results 38-20 Montenegro

Russian Revolution coming off a monster game. Athens doing what they said all year long, they would take care of the Red Tide. Is Athens riding a high enough confidence to overcome the powerhouse that is the Revolution?? Week 7 rematch that Russian Revolution won 47-14. I expect that Russian Revolution with superior depth and game planning win this one by 21 points.

#3 Montenegro Meat

Though was hoping for an upset or 2 here both teams proved their standing and advanced. This game should be a pretty good one to watch and might be an instant classic. The winner gets the grand prize of more then likely facing the Russian Revolution. Who wants it more?? Week 13 rematch that is still fresh in peoples minds that gave us a 21-14 game won by Saratov. Going to go on the limb here and say its won by 3 and late in the 4th. Good Game Saratov.

Ok could start with this is a rematch of... but both teams are different now. Athens pulled off a great game against Russian Revolution and Saratov had a great one against Montenegro. Who will have the momentum? It appears as though Athens has changed things around the most so Dont suggest looking past them and am looking forward to seeing this game in 2 days. With that said I am going to say its a win by 10 for.....

Well they waited to boost, so I guess we will find out now that they are at full strength.

Well... We'll just have to wait and see about that...

Its just been my prediction. No offense to you Athens, you guys have a great team and managed your team a heck of a lot better than the Revolution. That's what happens when you blow your wad in the regular season. 16-0 means nothing if you can't compete in the playoffs. You guys deserved to beat the Russians and good luck.
