Alpha has their own playoff talk and predictions thread, so I thought we'd start our own thread about it

Zeta is as tight as ever, so it's anyone's crown. Any team in the top 6 has a good chance at winning the title

Here's how I think it'll end up as (and it's a little biased, I know ):
Round 1
#1 HRY Vs #8 Diablo --> HRY wins 41-7
#2 MMJ Vs #7 Fort Worth --> MMJ avenges their close loss, and wins 27-13
#3 Taiwan Vs #6 Guam --> A much improved Guam team is edged out by Taiwan, 20-19
#4 Blood Gulch Vs #5 Idaho --> Blood Gulch continues their slide and Idaho continues their surprising rise; Idaho wins 31-27

Round 2
#1 HRY Vs #5 Idaho --> HRY edges out Idaho 28-24
#2 MMJ Vs Taiwan --> MMJ wins in a matchup of the top 2 Ds, 12-10

Championship game
#1 HRY Vs #2 MMJ --> HRY and MMJ go into OT, and HRY wins on a FG; HRY 17-14

we're bound to beat HRY one of these times

If we're going to lose anywhere in the playoffs, that'd be the way to do it, but I think we may be moving up the the trips, if you know what I mean.

#1 HRY Vs #8 Diablo --> HRY wins 41-7 I'm gonna get thrashed for this, but you only beat the Connoisseurs 41-17.

Off by only a TD...not bad!

The results are in, and the top 4 seeds are moving on. As it should be, Gaum and Idaho made some great second season turnarounds, but with the exception of BGC's late slide, these 4 teams dominated the regular season.

HRY vs. BGC

Taiwan vs. MMJ

Who will rise up victorious??

This round should be fun to watch all across the board. I have to give the edge to HRY in the top bracket. They are playing some good ball right now.

TAI vs MMJ should be a great defensive battle. They were the only Zeta team to beat us this year so we have a chip on our shoulder from that loss. I would think a TD will be the difference here. I see a close one.

damn at this point i have no idea who i want to win.. i owe all 4 teams a beating.

Right back at you. I know trash talking is fun sometimes, but I think everyone carries them self pretty well in this confrence. No matter who moves on or who stays this league will continue to be tough.

I dont know if anyone has noticed, but our boys from last season Samed in Alpha and Koyto from Zeta both made it to the playoffs. Koyto has been knocked out, but Samed is still running.

Damn, well we need to beat BG if we want to be favored first. As a homer I would pick HRY, but due to losing two games in the pas two seasons I would give BG a 7 point edge. As a Yeti though, I am hoping for a Yeti victory. Here is to a great game!

I agree with this. We are 0-2 against BGC. My gut tells me that we have slightly better team now, and should win, but my head...keeps reminding me that we have yet to beat BGC. Nothing like ending a streak in the playoffs

In all honesty the playoffs in Zeta are exactly how they should be. Taiwan, MMJ, BGC, and HRY were the best 4 teams all season long regardless of record. (Sorry Hurricats)

yeah, whomever wins from here on out will not be a surprise to me. It's going to be a tough road to the championship no matter what happens
