Warrior General Games

I know everyone is waiting to see who I pick for the playoffs because my picks so automatic (in reverse of course) . However, some of these I can’t even screw up.



Western Conference:
Hood vs Yellowknife – even with a New Coordinator I think Hood has just too much for Yellowknife. However it will be closer than the experts think. (23-17 Hood)

Saskatoon vs Thunder Bay – very close matchup. The sim will find some way to screw over Thunder Bay . (Saskatoon by 2)

Oh Canada vs Ft Richardson – Oh Canada rolls on (31 – 14 Oh Canada)

Anti-Mod vs South Jersey – Upset alert. No reason for an upset other than they seem to happen in the playoffs. I don’t see it happening but Anti-mods get scared. (21 – 19 Anti-Mods)

Well that was pretty boring all the top seeds make it to round 2.

Eastern Conference:
Disclaimer: I do not follow the Eastern conference that much but I will throw some picks out there anyway

Canadian vs Aspermont – Canadian leads the whole way. (38 -13 Canadian)

Lumberjack vs Willow Creek – Willow Creek wins in a close one. I just want to see what Jokerpac32 has to say when he sees I picked Willow Creek (17-14 Willow Creek)

Medicine Hat vs Sherbrook – Medicine Hat has no problems in this one (28 – 7 Medicine Hat)

Prince Edward – Edmonton – Upset special. Edmonton pulls this one out in overtime (24 – 21 Edmonton)

Well there you have it. Flame away!!!

Okay, upset bracket now...
in order of liklihood - 1 most likely, 8 least likely
1) Edmonton over PE Sharks
2) Thunder Bay beats Saskatoon
3) Willow Creek is playing possum (you don't fool me joker...the week 13 or 12 or wthever comment "we suck" was a dead giveaway.),
4) For some bizarre reason Sherbrook hits me as a early round fav...Sorry MH, nothing personal,
5) who in here wouldn't mind to see Anti-Mods go down for the run they've been putting out in the forum,
6) who in here wouldn't mind seeing CanBacon hit the skids, just because we deserve it, a repeat of LAST YEAR? Aspermont beat a handful of good teams to get here,
7) I think Hood believes they're invincible so they get moved up one for lack of self-effacing activity, so I pick penultimate least likely to upset; Yellowbacks, I mean Yellowknife,
8) Sorry Fort Richardson...I think you can do it but not before these other teams. (actually I don't think you can but I have to give you hope...HERE'S TO HOPE) Damn! close that BOX!

Okay now that I've run my mouth...someone else's turn.

I agree with our Spitfires being high on the list. Seeing as Thunder Bay and us are the 4th and 5th seed, but also that we are just very close in general without looking at the standings.

We would feel it was a definite disappointment if we lose our first round game, but losing to Thunder Bay would not be a true "upset" imo.

The only Western Conference game I have a gut feeling for is South Jersey over Anti-Mod..and I can't explain it, just a gut feeling since it is pretty obvious Anti-Mod is a great team.

I see no upsets in the Eastern Conference but I see close games in all but the Medicine Hat/Colonels game.

i do not think we are invincible as anti mod squad beat us this year... but good one coach blunder. we just have fun.. i think you are a little to uptight. so ill take aspermont in a impossible upset

HAHAHAHAHA.... You guys think we are playing possum? LOL I use to think Chemistry was a joke. But now I am a firm believer in how much it helps. But as we all know, Bort loves the underdog in these things.

I have been holding it off all day, but now the nervousness is starting to creep up! I just want to see the sims already!

I don't see why a team would sandbag their way into 5th place, losing out on several million dollars in home advantage.
