Looks like the conferences are faily even this season.

These match-ups in week 16 are certainly no way to gauge that. Too many of the top teams in both conferences played bottom teams in the other. I wish that this 16th game was a floating match-up with whoever is of the same rank in the other conference. That would be a cool "bragging-rights" game.
I think overall the conferences are close, but I think any of Zeta's top 5 could be #1 or 2 in Alpha. Zeta has some great teams at the top. But alpha probably is tougher to compete in. Those middle teams are pretty talented. 2 or 3 teams that didn't make the playoffs in Alpha, might have made the cut in Zeta.

I would agree. I think Zeta is top heavy while Alpha is the more balanced conference.

Uh ... no. Don't make me go Wayne Brady on you, son! #6 Zeta Whitechapel played #8 Alpha Vienna in Week 16 and completely dominated, giving up only nine yards in the first quarter. Unfortunately for us, WE3 Zeta is just a ridiculously tough conference.

Yea but that could just be a fluke too.

Scrimmages don't necessarily mean much if one side is testing tactics, but we just handed Dublin a worse loss than they had all season in Alpha (only 62 yards allowed in the first half). You guys are up next, so I guess that we'll have a better idea of how the two conferences stack up after that.

Heh, I suppose. Then again, you guys only beat Dublin by 7. We're a mid-carder in Zeta, but I'm pretty sure we'd win Alpha.

What you're pretty sure of is only an opinion. What is a fact is that you're not playing any games that matter anymore in WEA 3.
so Heh on that.

You're absolutely right. #3 Zeta is a beast of a conference, probably the best in Western Europe A.

I don't think there's any question that Zeta is a lot better conference than Alpha, but kudos to Lewisburg for answering my smack talk with a scrimmage win today.

I disagree. Overall I think Alpha has the better conference, but I think Zeta has by far the best top 5.
