wow, after all the midseason drama, team being sold, and half the team bailing, Cairo will most likely make it to the playoffs this season, although it should be an early exit, it is indeed interesting!

it's going to be an interesting playoff race. cairo winning today really threw a new wrench into it, as now 2 teams still in contention will be left out.
four teams are now officially in, leaving 4 spots left. looking at the schedules:
nethawks (lib city, burundi): needs to win one of these. ought to beat lib city, but don't get lazy or overconfident guys.
djibouti (comoros, darfur): two very tough games. needs to win at least one to stay in the hunt. vs. darfur is make or break.
tripoli (microdizzle, cape town): they should win both of these, earning their spot. but crazy things have happened...
gambia (UN, sahara): good luck, guys. if they can pull an upset, they're in. otherwise, will need two of these teams to finish 7-9 as they are the lowest scoring team of the playoff contenders.
iowa (revenge, cybertron): also needs one, but should get it vs. the revenge. if they can beat cybertron, they're guaranteed.
cairo (marawko, sudan): lucked out like crazy getting the worst team in lion, which is bad for the others on the list. if they can win that, they're in.
my guess, the nethawks, tripoli, and cairo are in. after that, if iowa can finish 9-7, thats probably the 8th team as the others are staring pretty hard at 8-8. if all three are 8-8, points scored goes to djibouti. it really all comes down to the djibouti/darfur game. if darfur finishes 7-9, iowa is in. gambia got screwed by drawing sahara.

Well we appreciate you saying that Cairo should win the Sudan game and not mentioning us. The RAWK plans on giving them a game!!!!
All I can say is that the RAWK has played a lot better football this season and we hope to make all of you guys in Elephant worried about your game with us next season.
I have to say as far as conferences go this is one of the most competetive out there and we are proud to be here.

I was damned impressed with the game you guys played against us.
And I wasn't even holding back since I'm a Rawk!!O season ticket holder!!
I could see Iowa sneaking in and Gambia dropping out of the playoffs. Other than that, I say the teams in it now, will be the ones.

All I can say is we knew we would lose but we did what we could to give our O a chance to keep it close.
UN is the cream of the crop and all we wanted to do was at least seem respectable and I think we accomplished that. I will be wearing a UN jersey for the playoffs this year.
Although I have to say I thought it was sweet we were able to keep your rushing attack under it's season average.

It is amazing how the bottom teams from last season are in the playoff race now. We (Terror) got the luck of the draw with these last 2 games. We are not taking it lightly though! From 3 wins last season to, hopefully, 9 wins and a playoff birth. It has been a crazy year.

I don't know what guys have planned in terms of offseason aquisitions but I really think with a couple upgrades you guys will be a very competitive team and make a strong playoff push next year. You guys seem to gampelan very well and have had some surprisingly close games against upper level teams despite the level gap.
This just confirms to me that our league has some of the most evenly matched teams of any league i've been in. I think this leagues winners and losers are going to be based pretty much all on gameplanning once camoros and the peacemakers move on.

As the owner of the Revenge, I can honestly say that we feel we have had some bad luck in some games. Last season, the team was sold to me, our chemistry went into the tank. Not to mention the old owner took most of the starters from the team in the offseason, which is even more chemistry hits.
I have done some really great recruiting to get some really quality agents. We have had a few games now where a long TD or a 4th and 0 on the 0 have been the difference between wins and losses, we happen to have all those as losses.
As our chemistry increases, I see our games getting closer and closer.
I love this league, the forums are good, games are good, and some rivalries exist, which is always good.
