Power Rankings and Predictions - Week 14 - Eastern Conference
Week 14’s predictions here, and things are getting slightly static. Well, as I see it, that shouldn't be the case for the following week. Lets get to the predictions.

1. Flappin' Heads (13-0)
Previous: 1 High: 1 Low: 3
Next: vs Eastside Eagles
Notes: Sorry Flappin’s, this guy isn’t my game of the week… just because I don’t think it’ll be much of a contest. I predict Flappin wins by 14.
2. Triple B's 13th Cadre (12-1)
Previous: 2 High: 2 Low: 6
Next: vs St. Catherine’s Stompers
Notes: This could get ugly very quickly. Triple B’s wins by 49.
3. Quebec City Chiefs (11-2)
Previous: 3 High: 1 Low: 3
Next: @Regina Pounders
Notes: Here’s a better candidate for game of the week, because both teams actually have a chance to win the game. For the 2nd time in the last 2 weeks, I think Quebec slips up. I’m picking them to lose by 3 in a close game.
4. Eastside Eagles (10-3)
Previous: 5 High: 2 Low: 5
Next: @Flappin Heads
Notes: Eastside is a force, but the Flappin’s are too good to lose to them. They lose by 2 touchdowns.
5. Regina Pounders (10-3)
Previous: 4 High: 4 Low: 6
Next: vs Quebec City Chiefs
Notes: Against Eastside a few weeks ago, Regina got shut out. I believe that a combination of bad luck and not sticking to the gameplan late was the true catalyst for the loss. A hard loss is avenged here by a win against Quebec in a very close game. I think Regina wins by 3.
6. St. John's Fog Devils (8-5)
Previous: 6 High: 4 Low: 11
Next: @Alberta Avengers
Notes: Nothing like a bounce-back game to get your hopes up a little. This should be more of the same. They’ll win by 21.
7. Tim Tebow Sucks (7-6)
Previous: 8 High: 6 Low: 14
Next: vs Shqiperia Shqiperia
Notes: Keep rollin rollin rollin. Win by 14.
8. Great Lakes Rum Runners (6-7)
Previous: 7 High: 7 Low: 15
Next: vs Manitoba Manitees
Notes: I can’t really pick two teams that combine for a .500 record to be my game of the week, but the score in this one is definitely worth watching and is worth so much more for the teams involved. This has huge playoff implications for both teams, and I think Great Lakes puts up a fight but loses this one, all but eliminating them from the crowded race for 8th place. 7 point defeat.
9. Manitoba Manatees (7-6)
Previous: 9 High: 6 Low: 9
Next: @Great Lakes Rum Runners
Notes: Manitoba moves up the ranks here above Great Lakes in a huge game. They win by 7 and take another step closer to the playoffs.
10. Thunder Bay Hitmen (7-6)
Previous: 10 High: 5 Low: 10
Next: vs Mystery Alaskans
Notes: A much needed easy game in between 2 very tough games. This one should pose no problem to the Hitmen, who played a respectable game against the Heads. Just couldn’t score the points tho. They’ll win by 17.
11. Mystery Alaskans (4-9)
Previous: 13 High: 10 Low: 13
Next: @Thunder Bay Hitmen
Notes: What a drop off from 10 to 11 here. They’ll lose by 17 to TBH, as they really don’t have much to play for.
12. Alberta Avengers (3-10)
Previous: 12 High: 7 Low: 15
Next: vs St. John’s Fog Devils
Notes: Tough game, I think that Alberta is able to exploit St. John’s defense for a few scores, but can’t contain a potent offense, which causes a 21 point defeat.
13. Quebec Eagles (3-10)
Previous: 11 High: 11 Low: 15
Next: vs Port Dover Panthers
Notes: Quebec vs Port Dover… who cares? Lol. In all seriousness, the Eagle’s offense isn’t completely inept. This should propel them to a nice 13 point win over the panthers.
14. Port Dover Panthers (2-11)
Previous: 14 High: 7 Low: 14
Next: @Quebec Eagles
Notes: Losing against bad teams really hurts. They’ll get beat by the Eagles by 13.
15. Shqiperia Shqiperia (1-12)
Previous: 15 High: 13 Low: 15
Next: @Tim Tebow Sucks
Notes: At least they’re not last. They’ll lose a fairly mundane game by 14.
16. St. Catharines Stompers (0-13)
Previous: 16 High: 16 Low: 16
Next: @Triple B’s 13th Cadre
Notes: This will get ugly very quickly, I predict a loss by 49. Stick with it guys, if nothing else, you’ve got some cash to work with. Decent recruiting and team managing might net you a few wins next year.
