it wont be lifted next year it will most likely go up to 19 100% and 20 80%, thats if Bort takes into account boosting at the playoffs.

Last year Canada A, had its cap removed day 1 of season 4, and they only had a half of year as a league, hopefully they learned their lesson from that, a few owners bought 25+ lv ppl in to dominate the league this year.

Bort stated at the beginning of the season that at the beginning of the second season the cap would increase.. I'm thinking that Jeremiah is right - level 20.. but possibly as high as level 21 (though 19-20 would be MUCH better IMO, even with level 19, it is likely we'll start game 1 with a couple level 24 Players).

The question I have is - for teams which are Relegated back into the A-Leagues.. if they already have a level 28 player on the team, wtf happens? do they get to keep the player? do they have to dump the player?

To my understanding as long as they were signed under the cap at first they are fine...

That is EXACTLY the question that I had! I will go to faq page to see if anybody knows.

It tends to be bad teams and teams with bad builds that get relegated so that shouldn't be a problem.

If jbleich lets me boost early next season I should be lvl 25!

This is the answer Voltron gave me:
Demoted teams will have the cap added to there teams, promoted teams will lose there cap. The teams that are getting demoted, are getting demoted for a reason.

It will depend if we get promoted or if we stay in this league.

I thought the cap only applied to signing free agents. The mean/max level of the league would determine if a player was penalized XP, which is going to be higher than 20-21 especially after everyone is done boosting. If a team gets relegated with level 28 players, they shouldn't have a problem, only when they try to sign a FA over the league cap after relegation will there be an issue.

That was how I understood it. I would dig up Bort's post on it, but I'm at work and feeling waaaaaay too lazy to look for it.

Well the other thing to consider is relegation/promotion happens on day 41, so the teams coming down will actually serve to raise the avg and possibly the cap would then be more than 20ish
