Sorry about not lining up correctly. Doing this at work, so I don't have to right spreadsheet. Big upset by Black Belt in Alpha. Everything has been business as usual in Zeta.

Take this playoff analysis with a grain of salt. How many players on each team boost and when can drastically affect the outcomes of some games and, as Black Belt proved, there are still upsets to be had. Also, noone seems to know exactly what the tie-breakers are but I've run this analysis assuming that it is Head-to-Head first, followed by Points Scored.

Alpha Conference
Seed - Team - Projected Record - Projected Points Scored - Remaining Games - Analysis

#1 - Warsaw Wrath (14-2) - (709) - vs. Sons of Liberty (close win), @ New Brunswick (win), @ Chester (win) - The Wrath and the Demons should both win out the remainder of their games with the Wrath having the edge on Head-to-Head and the Demons with Points Scored. A loss to the Sons of Liberty would drop the Wrath into 3rd.

#2 - Helsinki Demons (14-2) - (766) - vs. Krakow(win), @ Spandau(win), @ Saratov(win) - The Demons are pretty much set and safe. Barring an upset, they won't move up or down and the average margin of victory in their last 3 games is projected to be over 33 points.

#3 - Chernobyl Toxic Avengers (13-3) - (572) - vs. SOBB(win), @ Greece(close win), vs. Minoan(close loss) - The Toxic Avengers have a brutal final 3 games against playoff opponents and even SOBB has to be considered dangerous after their upset of Greece. If all goes as expected, CTA will own the Head-to-Head tiebreaker against SOL.

#4 - The Sons of Liberty (13-3) - (672) - @ Warsaw(close loss), vs. Texas(win), vs. Katowice(win) - This next game is critical for SOL. If they beat Warsaw, they can catapult into 1st place. If they lose, they end up here in 4th place. It could mean the difference between 1 home game and 3 home games.

#5 - Business Time (12-4) - (551) - vs. New Brunswick(win), @ Helsinki(win), @ Morgantown(close loss) - Business Time is another team that is set for the playoffs. They should have no difficulty with either New Brunswick or Helsinki and, subsequently, whether they win or lose against Morgantown they will end up in 5th.

#6 - Greece Lightning (12-4) - (638) - @ Gotland(win), vs. Chernobyl(close loss), @ Mombasa(win) - The Lightnings' playoff seeding depends on their key match-up with Chernobyl. The expected loss ends them up here, while a win would move them up to the #3 seed.

#7 - Helsinki Hellrazors (9-7) - (489) - @ Prague(win), vs. Business Time(loss), vs. Booty Bay(win) - None of the Hellrazors games should be close. Beating Business Time would gain them nothing except respect. Losing to either Prague or Booty Bay would drop them to #8, Losing to both of them could drop them out of the playoffs.

#8 - Stary Oskol Black Belts (9-7) - (524) - @ Chernobyl(loss), vs. Prague(win), vs. Maribor(win) - A great win over Greece has helped solidify the Black Belts playoff hopes. If they can beat Chernobyl, they will move up to the #7 seed. If they lose to either Prague or Maribor, the Texas Red Dragons will snap up the #8 seed.

#9 - Texas Red Dragons (8-8) - (403) - vs. Budapest(win), @ SOL(loss), @ Tallinn(loss) - Texas has a tough last 2 games and needs an upset to get to the playoffs, either by beating SOL or Tallinn or by having Helsinki or Stary Oskol stumble. Texas owns the tie-breaker over both teams.

Seed - Team - Projected Record - Projected Points Scored - Remaining Games - Analysis

#1 - Minoan Minotaurs - (15-1) - (700) - vs. Saratov(win), @ Morgantown(win), @ Chernobyl(close win) - The Minoans are expected to win out, but with tough games against Morgantown and Chernobyl they could end up as low as #4.

#2 - Vilnius Iron Wolves - (15-1) - (558) - @ Belarus(close win), vs. Bratislava(win), vs. Gotland(win) - The only tough game left on the Iron Wolves schedule is Belarus. A win would lock-up at least the #2 spot, a loss could drop them to #4.

#3 - Morgantown Biscuits - (14-2) - (485) - @ Kharkiv(win), vs. Minoan(loss), vs. Business Time(close win) - Similar to Minoan, Morgantown has 2 tough games left. A victory against Minoan and a Belarus win over Vilnius could move them into the #1 position due to their victory over Belarus.

#4 - Belarus Death Machine - (14-2) - (543) - vs. Vilnius(close loss), @ Ostrava(win), @ New Brunswick(win) - See Vilnius above.

#5 - Tallinn Tigers - (12-4) - (419) - vs. Jefferson City(win), @ WUFE(very close win), vs. Texas(win) - Tallinn should be able to win out with their only close game being against WUFE. The winner of that game should take the #5 seed and the loser the #6 seed. Currently, Tallinn is favored by half a point.

#6 - WhatsaMatta U Fighting Elk - (11-5) - (526) - @ Bratislava(win), vs. Tallinn(very close loss), @ Spandau(win) - See above.

#7 - Chester Romans - (9-7) - (431) - @ Katowice(close win), vs. Kharkiv(win), vs. Warsaw(loss) - The Romans are in a very stable spot. It would take several major upsets for them to move up in the seedings, but a loss to Katowice would drop them to #8.

#8 - Ostrava IRONMEN - (8-8) - (340) - @ Maribor(win), vs. Belarus(loss), vs. Prague(win) - Belarus is the only tough team left on Ostrava's schedule. Since Chester owns the tie-breaker, Ostrava would need a Chester loss and a win over Belarus to move up. A loss to either Maribor or Prague would knock them out of the playoffs.

#9 - Katowice Legion - (7-9) - (376) - vs. Chester(close loss), @ Jefferson City(win), @SOL (loss) - The Legions only hope to move up in the seedings is to beat Chester. If they lose to Jefferson City, they didn't belong in the playoffs anyway.

You have both Chester and Katowice winning a close one to each other.

I don't see my Texas Red Dragons on your list. We have a chance to be the #7 or #8 seed ourselves. What is up with that?

I think a loss to either Prague or Booty Bay will knock us out. Stary Oskol will get 2 more wins. Texas will win the next one probably and have two tough games against SOL and Tallinn Tigers. We can't be tied with Texas because they beat us by a FG in game two of the season. If we lose two, were out.

Ostrava will win 2 out of 3 and knock Katowice out.
