Warrior General Games

We really had a hard time on 3rd down with you guys. That last drive I was certain you guys would score and take the game. A very well timed fumble for us made the difference.

Yea I'm still in big disbelief over that game. I wont reveal builds, but I'm not understanding how we're leading the league in fumbles with our running backs based on build.

We out-gained you guys big time but missed the opportunities both offensively and defensively to win. I'd take our same game plan and bet 7 out of 10 times Iowa comes away with a win. Either way, good win, and perhaps we'll see you guys again.

We game planned, trained, and put every effort possible into winning that game. We knew that game would define our season. It was very close and could have gone either way, but I'm willing to bet it'd be more like 5/5 if we played that game ten times. We're just that closely matched. Our offense may not have out-gained yours, but our defense stood their ground when things got rough and our tandem at halfback just ground things out in the running game. Each of us had one turnover so that wasn't really a factor. I will say that Blaine "The Bull" Abraham is an absolute beast at RB. Good luck the rest of the way, I hope you guys can slip into the playoffs somehow!

7 out of 10? I really doubt that. Yes you outgained us, but almost half of those yards (180) came in the 4th quarter when you started throwing the ball like crazy. Those numbers are a bit inflated IMO. Either way though it was a good game and can't wait to play you agai next year so we can "get lucky" again.

That one turnover was on your 10 yard line with less than 30 seconds to go in the game, I think it was a factor.

Way too many missed opportunities on our offense, you didn't win that game. We LOST that game. We controlled that game and our own destiny in it, and we blew it. That's why I say 7 out of 10 we win, we manhandled the game when we needed too, we just didn't convert the points out of it.

Say what you want about the 4th quarter yardage, but you gotta realize that was taken into account when making the game plan, we knew how to beat you guys. We have one of the best offensive game planners I think you can find (with a proven AI tactics set to back up that claim), and while my defensive game planning isn't perfect, it's enough to get the job done. As I said before, we just didn't put up the points when we needed to, we lost that game. You may have one more "W" to your record now from it, but it wasn't because of what you guys did, it was because of what we failed to do.

Speaking of middle of the line, I see 9 middle of the line players, if that, in your resume. That might be giving you a tad bit much credit though.

But seriously, I think someone is a little agitated for it just being a "virtual football game." Lol chill out dude, and get outside more or something. We as owners have a right to get a little worked up when we see our efforts go fruitless, because we spend money for our teams. Last I checked you dont own one. Thanks for playing though.

I reallt don't feel like getting into a bash-fest with you because I feel like we are both above this. The bottomline is we have two very evenly matched teams that should have many more well fought battles ahead of us. Cheers to a newly formed rivalary!

I'd be willing to send a friendly challenge offer over to you guys for another game this season. If you guys win again I'll simply shut up and eat a large piece of humble pie, but I still feel my team is the better team. Dont expect Blaine to fumble like he did again, and dont expect us to not capitalize like we did. The drives we did not capitalize on were easily 14+ more points for us in that game, not to mention our missed FG. I understand a W is a W, but if we were matched up again it's not one I'd project you guys getting again.

Works for me...I just think my team has played a stretch of football this season that is way out of character. I feel like we're more up to Djibouti's level of quality when it comes to a team, and I see what they did to you earlier this year. They've had a tough streak too, but it shows the potential of both Iowa and Djibouti when all cylinders are firing. Unfortunately against you guys, our cylinders weren't all going when we played you guys.

My guess is that chemistry may have played a role in the game, maybe not so much from what you guys were able to do, but from what we failed to do when we went into the game with the lowest chem we've had all season. We're now back up to approx. where we were earlier in the season, so I'm excited for a rematch and see if the boost we get from increased chem is enough to convert our chances we get.
