Warrior General Games

I know sometimes these posts look pretty bad and people look like idiots, but I think it's better to look at them than nothing at all...at least people act like they care and try to have fun.

Where did all the banter go to from last season, people having fun and poking at each other and announcing their rivalries, etc. This forum is OUR forum, we pretty much are the only ones that would even think about reading or posting in it and out of the 32 teams here, maybe 8 ever say anything. There are some kickass things going on in Alpha, some teams that have really shined this season from last...

I just wonder, in a game where we're supposed to be having fun, it doesn't seem too fun right now. Where is everyone?

Thank you NeoDR. I would shut the fuck up if you guys actually posted something... Until then you get me poking fun of your teams because I don't have the time to diligently come up with something credible or informative.

Despite what some people think I'm actually working a full time job and doing my masters degree full time. So all you get is bs unless a topic of interest comes along.

I just wondered where all the fun is...all these other owners who spend time with their teams like Draven and I do with ours...come on man!!

Just kidding, I had some problems that I had to settle here at home, so now that I'm done with that you can count on me to help resurrecting this forum...and yeah, I know it's not a big help, but that's all I can give.

If I were you, I would rather worry how you lost to us!

I have a theory of how the engine works, and, personally, I'm not concentrated on the result but just the W-L-T column. If it wasn't so I would have replied:

"How da fuck did the Small Giants put up 21 pts against the Tigers, and 0 against us? Is the Tigers' defence that bad?"

I know alot of the times I check in to the forum but see that everything is Zeta conference so with my 3 teams I GM and this one being the one I own I ration my time towards the communities I know are discussing things that are of reference to my teams. I know that doesnt help Alpha conference out, but Im strapped for time with the amount of teams I have to run so if there arent already people talking about stuff I dont feel like I have the time to initiate the conversation and start the threads needed to bring Alpha into the forum consistently. I always read the stuff though. And I am the type of owner who is not going to go running his mouth about the opposing conference until there is a game scheduled in which it would matter ie the championship, until we make it there I have no comment on the Zeta conference.

WTH are we supposed to worry about? There isnt anything we can do about it, lol. I can safely say I don't worry about the game results one bit. I do enjoy the game immensley though.

Now back to Delrods comments, The result of that game was very surprising. Its one of the few times I have seen the sim Engine react that way. Strangely enough the other time involved you guys and Hatrick. Maybe you are on to something with yoru theory.

We had a bad game against you guys. We couldn't convert our 3rd and short. There must have been something wrong with the sim that day.

Jchonter, unlike you, some of us are playing the game for more than just checking in every two days to look at the SIM. That is the end result of lots of other things going on in this game on the back end. Recruiting, gameplanning every day, finance budgeting, etc etc. The forums are a fun way to interact with the rest of the league to have fun...THAT is the fun part for me. If I wanted to sign in and just have fun looking at some bullshit stats every two days I'd go pop open a beer and cheer about my 401K jumping 1% or my IRA making 2.50 that day...

How is it unlike me if I'm here posting responses?
