THIS GAME is why I will never graduate from grad school. I sit in lab all day doing things like spending the last 45 minutes playing with Tim Harper's League Projector Excel sheet.

I'm going home now to finish filling it out then I will have nice not-thought-out-by-a-human-at-all projections. I love this stuff.

Eastern Conference (yes I will pick my own game since they aren't really MY predictions per se):

Blitzkrieg 9 Lancaster 36 I think it will be skewed for Blitzkrieg all year, as in this game will be a lot worse.

Here are my predictions for this week:

Saskatchewan Wolf Pack vs Port Moody Megalodon - The Wolf Pack are trying really hard to get back into the playoff picture. They have won 3 straight and 5 of the last 6 games. They are sitting in 9th place in the conference and they need a few more wins to get into the playoffs. Port Moody is the hottest team in the West. They are winners of 9 straight and have a playoff spot locked up. But they want more. Not only do they they want a home playoff game but they want that number 1 seed in the West. Wolf Pack needs it to get into the playoffs and Port Moody wants it to get the number 1 seed. Wolf Pack wants it but Port Moody has it. Port Moody wins this one 34 - 24.

Listowel Huskies - Ogopogo Lake Monsters - The Huskies have a 2 game win streak going and are currently sitting 2nd in the confernce. The are 1 game bebind Port Moody and they play them yet this season. The Monsters have a 4 game win streak of their own and are sitting 6th place but have a record of 8-4. A very good game here folks and the Huskies win this one in OT by a score of 30 - 27.

Arctic Cricle Jerks vs Gaffney Indians - The Jerks are in last place and have lost every game they have played. But on the bright side, they have scored points in all three of their last games. They still lost by major amounts but they did score points. The Indians are sitting 4th and want to make sure they keep that spot or get better. Winning 7 of the last 8 got them there and beating the Jerks by a score of 73 - 7 will at least keep them there.

Québec City Dirtbags vs Tradewest Battletoads - The Dirtbags have the highest average starting level in the West. But even with all that power, they are sitting in 7th place with a 6-6 record. But rumor has it that they are getting their game plan fixed and ready to make a strong run into the playoffs. The Battletoads are the second hottest team in the West next to Port Moody. Battletoads have won 6 straight and are sitting in 5th place. 5th place is an away playoff game and they want at least 1 home playoff game. Wow, another OT game in the West as Dirtbags prove they are on the right track by winning this one 44 - 41.

Memphis Maulers vs Grise Fjord ^^^Kodiaks^^^ - After a good start of the season, the Maulers are in a tail spin and have lost 6 of the last 7. They are currently sitting in 11th place in the conference but 6-6 record sits in 7th place so the playoffs are not far out of their reach. The ^^^ have lost 3 in a row and a good team turned south with a new owner. They still hold the last playoff spot and a win this week might give them the confidence to keep it going into the playoffs. The ^^^ might get it done as they win this one 30 - 28.

Thunder Bay Titans vs Bologna Towers - The Titans are in 12th place and have a 3 game losing streak. The Towers are another team that have lost every game this season. This game might not be the one that has the Towers attention. Next week they play the Jerks and think that is their best chance at winning a game. Glad that they did not think that this week would be their best shot since they lose to the Titans 27 - 10.

B.K. Thunderbirds - saskatchewan limas - These two teams are not sitting on the bottom of the leauge but that is only because there are two zero win teams there instead. This game means nothing but bragging rights for these two team. If there was a draft, then I would think one team would try to throw the game just to improve their draft pick. If that was the case, how would anyone tell? The Thunderbirds win this one 20 - 17.

The East conference I am just giving the score only.

Antioch Inferno vs Winnipeg Wolves - Inferno wins 30 - 24 (great game)

Canadian Military vs Quebec Quasars - Quasars wins 75 - 0

Hamilton Lightning vs Sacramento Terror - Lightning wins 80 - 0.

Lancaster Hustlas vs Blitzkrieg Bandits - Hustlas wins 55 - 10.

Toronto Bobcats vs Lincoln Lucky - Lucky wins 40 - 20.

Niagara Assassins vs Nova Scotia Snakes - Assassins wins 24 - 21 OT

S.W.O. Swamp Donkeys va Yellowknife Rented Mules - Donkeys wins 33 - 27 (pair of Ass game)

Sorry the East got the shaft. Just make up words to go into the games for added affect. That is what I did .

ok you got part right. win = right. 41 points given up = lol. Rumors are correct. I'm the new DC and the defense is about to get on track. They'll be lucky to score 14 points against us let alone 41. Last game was my first game and we had a couple miscues with the 3 long passes beating us for TDs, but those problems have all been addressed.

This is my favorite game of the year. Sure we'll beat the crap out of each other on the field; but once it's said and done, win or lose, we'll drain some kegs together after this one.

I am sorry about that. The Indians play Port Moody yet this year. I was not on my game yesterday. That was one of the reasons that I only did scores in the East. I felt I had no flair yesterday.
