Winner of this one gets a coveted tiebreaker and inside edge into the playoffs. Raiders need to fight for their post season lives.

WSP at Perth
Perth is surging, WSP is wilting but they still have the chance to play spoiler and save themselves from elimination out of contention.
I'm going way out on a limb and say that WSP pulls out the game of it's life and keelhauls the scalliwags, win by 1 pt

Lions at Swarm
I'm very interested in this game. I think the Lions have the power to fight with anyone in Zeta. This game will show us all if Tasmania is a contender or pretender. They held off one of the most complete runners in their last game, now they'll have to hold off one of the most complete teams in the conference. Lions will bite and nip at the swarm until they find something substantial to get their teeth into and then rip them to shreds.

Fiji B at ASRW
This game was marquee last season and ASRW were able to pull off a stunner and beat the Foxes. This season they're more apt to beat themselves than anyone of consequence. The Foxes have been solid and only getting better. The Wallabies get up for them so don't expect a cakewalk.
ASRW finds their mojo and win by 6

Nice write up johnbarber, except there is no way that either team wins the Lions/Swarm game by 13.

Also, could we make some kind of deal where you don't pick the NML in close games? You have a history of jinxing us pretty badly:

Lions proved time and again that they aren't afraid of anyone. They play tough on both sides of the ball and have no mercy. Devils have been solid but haven't played enough top tier teams yet to really solidify their spot in that strata yet. The next 3 games will change that and the Lions open the gauntlet. This game is going to be one to watch.

This is a fight for top 4, don't kid yourself if you think otherwise. I'm sure both sides are taking this seriously and it should be epic. Right now it looks like the Lions are less talented, but if that D rears it's head and plays as fierce as it has in the past, this game could swing the other way.

This is Newcastle's first chance to prove they're for real against a solid but less spectactular than last season Foxes team. The Lion D has always been rock steady but in this game the Offense has to prove it's worth against a very effective unit. Foxes need to hold off the Lions O and find a way to punch a hole in the D. I think someone not named Speedy Wonder will have to find that hole.

You get my respect for bringing it every game, from watching your games, you guys are tough and persistent, kind of like your team name. Still, you haven't gotten to the meat of your schedule yet.

JB certainly was in an upset mood. Of the 5 close games, he picked 4 upsets. I guess we'll see if the late season upsets change the conference rankings at all.

Honestly it kinda sucks that one of you guys will be gone next year.

But thats okay WSP will be here in mediocrity for some time to come.

He hasn't let me down so far... and I only gave him 10 runs that game. Their lack of CB depth kind of lured me in.

We'll see if he can secure his gold medals next game.
