Sorry they are a bit late...

It's definitely upset week, as the previous #2 and #3 teams both fall.

The Rankings:
Team Name/Record/Prev Week

The Top Ten:
1) Saskatchewan Sasquatches 11-0 1
The last remaining undefeated team, they clearly deserve to be #1. They face a tough test against the Beavers, and ISJ is a good team after that, but neither is expected to be able to stop this team. The last three games should be easy as cake.
2) Queen City Black Cats 10-1 2
Ok, I know I'll take some flak for this one...but this is the only team with a single loss. Comparing the games between the same teams played as Nebraska, QC still holds a slight edge. If Nebraska wins convincingly vs the Spartans though, this is their spot next week.
3) Nebraska Husker Maniacs 9-2 4
Has three very difficult games remaining: Sudbury this week, QC in four, and Manitoba to end the season. They'll probably need to go undefeated to have a shot at the top seed in the playoffs.
4) Cheyenne Mountain Air Force 9-2 5
They get two cupcakes before they face real competition again, but their last three games are difficult: St Johns, Montreal, and Hillsburgh. They're still very much in the mix for the #1 spot in the East.
5) Sudbury Spartans 9-2 6
Two losses are by a combined 9 points, and came against QC and Cheyenne, both teams currently ranked higher. They play Nebraska this week, but still have two games of note on their schedules after that: Red Deer and Saskatoon may provide some competition.
6) Vinland Vikings 9-2 7
They are a great team, but the defense still worries me. The loss to Winnipeg certainly hurts, but if they can win their two upcoming games against Vancouver and Hillsburgh they'll move up the rankings.
7) Halifax Hashishim 9-2 3
A very tough loss to a very good team drops them down four spots, but they're still very much in the thick of things. Of all the East teams, they may have the easiest remaining schedule with just one more very difficult game against QC still remaining, although the Warriors have shown they can pull upsets too.
8) St. John's Salty Dogs 7-4 10
They pulled a huge upset and knocked off previously undefeated QC, but they used almost all their boosts to do it. The question then is, what teams haven't boosted in the East and when they do, how will St. John's fare against them then? They're definitely a force to be reckoned with, and a top four playoff seed is not yet out of the picture.
9) Saskatchewan Beavers 7-4 11
This team is on fire with the second longest current win streak in Canada A6. However, they face the opponent with the longest win streak next week and have a very difficult battle on their hands. Can they pull off the upset?
10) Manitoba Icemen 7-4 8
Loss to the Beavers really sets them back, but they're still a very talented team. Should win every game up till their last game against Nebraska, which will be a great inter-conference battle.

The Middle teams:
11) Vancouver Vindicators 8-3 12
Yes, they beat the sometimes good, sometimes bad, Winnipeg Warriors, but how will they do against the Thunder and Vikings in the upcoming weeks? Those games will make or break the Vindicators.
12) Calgary Thunder 7-4 14
They are a very tough team, and never seem to lose by much. However, they still have some very difficult games remaining, so they just need to focus on making the playoffs.
13) Hillsburgh Hillbillies 8-3 9
Remaining schedules got much easier when Cold Lake called it quits, but they don't have a walk in the park either. Expect this team to lose a time or two more before the season is over.
14) Red Deer Blue Elk 6-5 17
Nice win over Montreal with only more difficult game against Sudbury reamining, this team has a good shot at making the playoffs.
15) Montreal Canadiens 7-4 13
Another tough loss, but they start the three game stretch against cupcakes now. Their last two games are very difficult and if they get at least one victory in those games, I'd think they make the playoffs.
16) In San Jose Pimpin Aint Easy 5-6 16
Good team, but their remaining schedule is brutal. If they can pull off some upsets they *might* be able to squeeze into the playoffs.
17) Winnipeg Warriors 4-7 15
Can anyone figure this team out? They beat the Vikings but lose to SEVEN other teams? They are definitely boom or bust.
18) Calgary Wrestlers 5-6 20
Not as good on paper as other teams, but they're definitely scrappy.
19) Saskatoon Guerillas 5-6 21
They got back on the winning track last week.

Need improvement:
20) Revelstoke Revolution 4-7 18
Game against the Guerillas next week should be interesting.
21) Iqaluit Arctic Wolves 4-7 19
Not enough talent to compete with the top teams yet, but they could be really good next year.
22) Cold Lake Wolverines 6-5 22
When the old owner quit, he messed them up big. Now a new dedicated owner is trying to clean up and improve them in a hurry, and if he does it fast enough they still have a shot at the playoffs.
23) Flint Tropics 5-6 23
Five wins is impressive considering that this is not a really good team, but four out of their next five will probably be losses. They have a chance at beating the Smoke though.
24) Portsmouth Cavaliers 4-7 25
Should get a win over Destruction Bay next week and one more win against Flint, but this team is realistically out of the playoffs.
25) Destruction Bay Dragons 4-7 24
Has yet to beat a good team, or even a mediocre team like Flint, but they do get the shut outs verse the terrible teams.

Just plain bad:
26)Toronto Smoke 1-10 26
Will new owner be able to make them a contender next season? Here's to hoping so.
27) Kelowna Outlaws 1-10 27
Just might give Smoke their second victory next week.
28) Barkmere Bulldawgs 2-9 28
At least they beat #30 and #32. The remaining game against Quebec could be a "W".
29) Quebec Boreal 2-9 29
Will have a tough time winning another game.
30) Bloodwesier Bugle All Stars 1-10 31
Won the game of the week last week against the Preachers, but that will probably end their winning streak next week vs the Air Force.
31) Castlegar Crusaders 0-11 30
At least their owner thinks they are good.
32) Peterborough Preachers 0-11 32
Clearly the worst team in Canada A6.

good job man. i'd like to see a little less love for the husker maniacs. we should be around 8 or 9 after the embarrassing loss to a team we should have beaten easily.

I don't know about beaten easily...the Spartans have been one of the toughest teams all year...I know only cause I do the ranking and have my GM's go spygate every other team in the conference

I'm sure you'll drop down a few...we'll see how far when I get it all in.
