Tijuana lost. They are now in second in their conference and haven't played Beltway yet. This is exactly why we were telling you to hold off.

We may end up inviting Beltway anyway, if Tijuana doesn't respond by tomorrow.

Either way, the whole point is to see which league is the best, and if the top teams are really close to each other, they will represent their league the same way. If one team will lose in the first round, so will the other - if one team will win it all, the other will do really well, too.

This is also a bit less random than dumb playoff luck. A lot of #7 and #8 seeds rode a few lucky sims to championships last year, so the conference champions aren't necessarily the best teams, either. Just the teams that could win 4 games when it counted.

Or as in AA#1 the teams that snuck under the radar and boosted late.

Late boosting is a good point - that could mean the #1 team really is #3. I guess we'll see the differences between this tourney and the end-of-season tourney, should be a good experiment.

so I see you invited a team that is rumored to have cheated.

Haha, do you mean the Cripplers? Or another team? Can you elaborate? Cheating will only be tolerated in this tournament if I am told how to do it also.

ha ha, I was just playing. I read somewhere about some africa team cheating but I don't really know anything about it. I just assumed if someone cheated it would be one of the top 4.

You should look into it more, it's actually pretty funny.

This jdog guy got REALLY bitter that the Cripplers beat him, and made a trash talk post saying his USA BBB team would crush us in a scrimmage ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=814598 ).

Well, we beat his USA BBB team, so he goes missing for a few days, not wanting to eat the crow we served him up. Then he finally comes back, says "good game" and asks the GM's of the Cripplers to give him advice on how to run his team via PM.

We say "no" and then a week later he makes more threads saying we cheat ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=894022 ) and even goes so far as to totally fabricate a post from support claiming that we really did cheat and will all get banned (http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=894053). It was obviously fake, so we contacted support and he's banned from posting for a few days now. I wish the mods didn't edit out the fake PM, because it was hilarious.

ha ha poor loser you can't cheat in this game really, or can you?
