New England versus Philadelphia is a great matchup. New England may be just 4-6, but they've been very competitive in 4 of those 6 losses. With Tecmo next up on their schedule, the Red Celtics could be back at .500 and in the thick of the playoff race if they can get the win today. The Wolves won't make that easy, however. Most of their losses have been close as well, and they haven't been under .500 since Week 5 of Season 2.

Depending on the outcome of today's action, the Vanguards from Viridia could leap as many as three spots in the standings, so I expect them to come out swinging today, looking to take the Energy out of Seabrook.

The Villagers are on a 5-game winning streak, but they face one of the toughest teams the East has to offer in their matchup with Arlington. The Fury, on a 9-game streak of their own, would love nothing more than to see PTT pull off the upset, coupled with a victory in their own tough matchup against the 7-3 Badgers. 2nd place in the standings is on the line in these two big contests.

It should be an exciting week in the East.

I can't believe the outcomes in the East today.

The Daggers are amazing. It seems they are always tough to beat late in the season (and have knocked off the River Rats and the Fanboys in consecutive weeks).

NERC finally had something go right for them by beating the Wolves. It seems they lose most close games, but not this one.

Finally, upset of the week: PTT over the Avengers! 28-14. I would have never predicted that. A close game, yes. A win? Probably not. By two touchdowns? Never. Who do we mail the thank-you gift to?

Good game Sconnie. You really hurt us last season by handing us a loss. Its nice to see that we could overcome you this year at least. See you in the playoffs.

There was definitely a shakeup in the Eastern Conference standings today. We now have a lot more separation at the top, and a lot more confusion in the middle of the pack.

Great wins today by PTT, New England, and Buffalo, and congratulations to all the teams that escaped with wins on a day of upsets.

I came home today after a family day and expected to see either really good bad results for Fury or good results for Fury.

What I found was completely unexpected. The Avengers lose? Thanks PTT! Fanboys lose another? Thanks Daggers! Wolves lose? Thanks NERC!

Just goes to show how great A6 is as a whole!

GG

It's just another repeat of our last season... 8-0 start, lose in week 9... lose in week 11... LMAO... weird. But look where it took us... up a conference.
