9-0 VS USA A8, 0-2 vs A6 there is some bulletin board material!

Hopefully there will be another A level tourney during the slow offseason. I expect A6 will do quite well in it.

I wonder if we could set up a tourney where leagues could go up against each other. Some kinda point system for wins and losses, that would be sweet. We would probably dominate.

I've been thinking about this a little, Mattman. One thing about some of these tourney's like the "best of A" etc., is that they are realitively unbalanced. You get uneven amounts and abilities from each league, so very difficult to compare. Here's a format I've come up with that would be relatively painless to set up. At the playoffs, you have the winner of the west vs. the winner of the east. Well, you could have the "losers" of the west and east jump into a tourney. USA West: A1 vs. A2, A3 vs. A4, A5 vs. A6, and A7 vs. A8. Same for the East. Second round, winner of 1-2 vs. winner of 3-4, 5-6 winner vs. 7-8 winner. It could be played in the time the real winners are waiting to play. At the end, winner of east vs. west. If all notified ahead of time and buy in, the brackets set up themselves. You can just have pre-agreed to times.

A6 is the best, period.

Obviously you have been giving this some thought liek you said. I definately think it is something that would be a lot of fun, and mroe importantly, we can put the smack down.
Thats a good formula it would do the work for you other than jsut posting brackets. Definately something we can look into doing, I would be willing to sacrifice some time to help set it up.

Have at it, Mattman. I do think most owners would welcome the idea.
