Power Rankings and Predictions - Week 10 - Eastern Conference
You might as well put the top 5 teams in stone for the remainder of the season. For me, it’s now a battle between teams 6-10 for the remaining 3 playoff spots.

2. Triple B's 13th Cadre (8-1)
Previous: 2 High: 2 Low: 6
Next: vs Eastside Eagles
Notes: Game of the week here, my friends. Triple B’s should limit Eastside’s O enough to get the close win here. I say its better than a TD but less than double digits. We’ll go with 9.
3. Quebec City Chiefs (8-1)
Previous: 3 High: 1 Low: 3
Next: @Manitoba
Notes: Finally another test for this team. This will be a decent game. I think Manitoba keeps it close but loses. QCC wins by 3.
4. Eastside Eagles (7-2)
Previous: 4 High: 2 Low: 5
Next: @ Triple B’s
Notes: Proved me wrong in the game vs Tebow. Their running game will carry them but not quite far enough. They lose to the 2nd best team by 9.
5. Regina Pounders (7-2)
Previous: 5 High: 4 Low: 6
Next: vs Thunder Bay
Notes: Very Respectable performance. This question mark of a team has finally answered the questions on what they are… they’re a contender and the last of the solid guarantees to make the playoffs. They’ll beat an average Thunder bay team by 15.
6. Tim Tebow Sucks (5-4)
Previous: 6 High: 6 Low: 14
Next: vs St. John’s
Notes: Couldn’t quite pull off my predicted upset. This week they’re facing a vulnerable and dejected Fog Devil’s team. I’m taking TTS over the Fog Devils by 7.
7. Manitoba Manatees (4-5)
Previous: 8 High: 6 Low: 9
Next: vs Quebec City Chiefs
Notes: Very convincing win over a less-than-mediocre team was enough to push them up the ranks. They’re in danger of moving down next week unless they keep it close. I predict they do keep it close to keep their rank, but lose and hurt their playoff hopes.
8. St. John's Fog Devils (6-3)
Previous: 7 High: 4 Low: 11
Next: @Tim Tebow
Notes: If this team can’t win games against 2-6 teams, then they don’t deserve to make the playoffs. Another loss here would be huge, with an insane 2nd half schedule. Basically, they need this one. They lose another heartbreaker by a TD.
9. Great Lakes Rum Runners (3-6)
Previous: 11 High: 9 Low: 15
Next: vs Port Dover
Notes: Close, impressive win. Gotta hand it to the rum runners, they’ve got a few intangibles. Still, at 3-6, the rest of the season is gonna be an uphill battle. This next game should be another step in the right direction, as they beat Port dover by 10.
10. Thunder Bay Hitmen (5-4)
Previous: 9 High: 5 Low: 10
Next: @Regina
Notes: One of the last teams on the “Brink” of the playoffs, the loss to TTS hurts. They need to win the games they should win to have a chance. Regina is a tough team though and this is another stumbling block in the road. Hitmen lose by 15.
11. Mystery Alaskans (3-6)
Previous: 10 High: 10 Low: 13

Notes: Enjoy these next 2 easy games, because the rest of the schedule is damn tough. I’m predicting the upset here and taking Alberta over Mystery by a field goal.

Notes: Tough game. Not much else to say except I’m sure nobody expects them to win. 30 Point loss.

Notes: Terrible performance on both sides of the ball. This game is a little easier but the outcome will be quite familiar. Loss by 10.
14. Alberta Avengers (2-7)

Next: vs Mystery Alaskans
Notes: This team isn’t good by any stretch of the imagination. But even a broken clock is right twice a day. I think this broken clock will be right for the 3rd time, winning by 3.

Next: vs St. Catherine’s
Notes: Gotta move them down to 15 after that terrible of a loss. Next game…who cares? (Alright if I have to pick a winner, Shapika by 7)
