Week Nine West Conference Power Rankings

1. Pewntenheimer "Mighty" Pewnts
I really have to admit, seeing Tony Brady get sacked on the third play of the game made me very, very hopeful. Sadly the Bolts couldn't get out of their own side until the second quarter. As soon as the did you guys answered right back and just ran away with the game.

2. Twin City Wildcats
Stomped on the Houston pass game which was looking pretty strong this season (And letting my QB gain on his yards passed ) you guys crushed them with your pass and rush games with no interceptions or fumbles.

3. Hammond Bayou Bengals
Strong win over Hattiesburg, but I must say your pass looked pretty weak, even though your run game looked intimidating.

4. San Diego Bolts
Hell of a way to start the game against the Pewnts, sadly had a little trouble punching it into the end zone early in the game. I was rooting for you guys even though it would be bad for us

5. Tampa Bay Greyhounds
Strong showing against the Squirrels, you crippled their pass and stomped on their run. You had a strong rushing day but you might want to watch out for those fumbles.

6. LUElinks LUEshis
Tried something new with my QB and it really killed us with dropped passes and incompletes against the Sidewinders. Even with the experimental settings we still hit you pretty hard with our pass and rush. Got my ass sacked twice though, which always sucks :O

7. Austin Alcoholics
Couldn't get any passing touchdowns today but were able to move the ball through the air and punch it into the end zone with your rush against Laredo. Proved yourselves to be the best (official) Texas team in the West.

8. Auckland Raiders
Free pass against the Bombers today, didn't put up many points though.

9. Farkistan Squirrels
Got taken apart by the Greyhounds today with no pass or rush to speak of. Started strong but fell off quickly.

10. Hattiesburg Hangovers
Got abused by the Bengals, with very little pass to speak of and no run at all.

11. Texas Bigga Bois
Powerful rush mixed with a ball moving pass won you the game, although quite late in the game.

12. Houston Cougars
Getting sacked seven times and not being able to get your offensive started got you murdered today, your defense didn't help much but even I know the Wildcats pass is damn hard to stop.

13. Laredo Lesbians
Kept the game with Austin close until the second half where they just ran away with the game.

14. Kingston Sidewinders
Kept it close at the start with your incredible rusher, but lost it in the second half where you couldn't get any more points up.

15. Gotham Crusaders
Devastating loss today, a win could have helped your team tremendously. Your next two games against Laredo and Kingston are going to be very important. It may look difficult but it's entirely possible and a lot of us are rooting for you

16. Mudville Bombers
Well at least you got a scrimmage win yesterday :-/

Week Nine East Conference Power Rankings

1. Pittsburgh Steel
Shut out the Angerswords and crushed them with your rush game, sadly your pass doesn't get much attention and your Quarterback is no Ben Roethlisberger. What would happen if you faced a team who could shut down your run? Good thing you're in the East

2. The Fighting Farvas
Played the Virus very very closely but giving up no interceptions or fumbles really helped save the day.

3. New York Grizzlies
Easy game against the Kickers this week, though you did allow them to pick up quite a lot of yards.

4. The Niagra Rapids
Clash of the pass games this week against the Kings, blindsided them with your rush that most people didn't realize existed.

5. Murfreesboro Taints
Kept the Devils out of the end zone and punched it into theirs all day. Looking like the strong team you are finally. Ashley Parker Angel's avatar is fucking creepy though, I hope you all know that.

6. Funkis Town Virus
Kept the Farvas on their toes the whole game and kept the score and yardage very close, those interceptions really killed you.

7. Baton Rouge Bayou Bengals
Brawlers game, congrats.

8. Chicago Wolves
Pulled out a much needed win against the Crabs who played a very strong game but just couldn't get the ball in the end zone as much as needed. Looking like the playoff team of old.

9. Beaver City Crabs
This position makes it look like you aren't as strong as you actually are, with the way East A4 is looking, I honestly think the rankings and playoff spots will be varying from week to week all the way up until the final game of the regular season. Incredibly tough loss to the Wolves.

10. Tupelo Kings
Crushed by the Rapids, with no pass you have almost no offense. Again, this position belies your actual strength. With the Crabs game coming up you'll be able to prove yourself one way or another.

11. KingsTalk Angerswords
Really crushed by the Steel today, but no one can fault you a loss to the current top team in your conference.

12. Twin City Cobras
Beat out the Sabercats even though you gave up two interceptions and lost a fumble. Good thing you didn't have trouble punching it into the End zone.

13. San Diego Sabercats
Tough loss to the Cobras today, but you did look impressive grabbing turnovers and putting up two touchdowns.

14. Jersey Devils
Bobby Winland was nowhere to be found at todays blowout-shutdown by the Taints. He actually pulled more receiving yards and touches than rushing. Didn't even manage a player on top performance. Rough loss.

15. Clemson Game Kickers
Got slapped around by the Grizzlies, but did manage to put up some yardage.

16. Thundertown Brawlers
283 yards against the Bengals made me happy, that's all.

No offense but when we lose 44-14 we get ripped on for no offense and when we win 44-14 we hear how we turn the ball over and are lucky to get a W. Somethin aint right with that.

Yeah well you don't have a team that literally started with nothing this year. I still said you guys looked strong, but you did have a lot of turnovers.

Hmmmm....I wonder which conference will win the championship this season, seeing how we beat both the Steel and Farvas in the pre-season...

seeing as we didnt gameplan and im sure the steel didnt either, putting alot of weight in preseason games is weak

Gotta beat the Pewnts bro, a feat you haven't managed in two seasons

I agree though, top West would mess top East up.

epicness: I'm a little more critical of your team than the Sabercats since they are a new team.

seeing that when we faced the bengals is when the AI was just brought out and were trying new things, which I am sure every other team in the league who were using them were as well. And its not like it was a blow out, 16-7 get over yourself.

Farvas take everything personally and blow it out of proportion, even when its some friendly trash talk.

Dragoon,

Regarding beating the Pewnts, which two seasons are you referring to? We haven't played them this season, so counting this one would be a bit foolish no?

Now if they win the next game, I'll give your statement a little more credence.
