I suggested in another thread that, "...I'm sure if you polled most owners in our division, they'd say that they would rather not face us (the St. John's Salty Dogs) in the first round of the playoffs." Halifax Hashishim's absolvedregicide said, "I'd be interested in seeing the results of the poll" and went on to specifically call us out by stating, "There's not another team in A6 East's top 8 that I'd rather face."

So, here goes...

Part One
Simple: In a one-game, winner-take-all match who would you rather face?

A) the Halifax Hashishim - or -
B) the St. John's Salty Dogs

Part Two
In looking at the Top 8 teams in Canada A #6 Eastern Conference, which would you most like to face in the first round of the playoffs?

1) the Queen City Black Cats, (9-0)
2) the Halifax Hashishim, (8-1)
3) the Nebraska Husker Maniacs, (8-1)
4) the Cheyenne Mountain Air Force, (7-2)
5) the Sudbury Spartans, (7-2)
6) the Montreal Canadiens, (6-3)
7) the St. John's Salty Dogs, (5-4)
8) the Red Deer Blue Elk, (5-4)

i would rather face the salty dogs. and since the blue elk put up the most points on us so far this season i will have to once again say i would rather race the salty dogs. or canadians, it's close. but yall know we will take on any challenges and welcome them.

Well, it's hard to say since the season isn't over...but based on where things stand, the Black Cats would like to face the Canadiens in round one. They are the team we won the most by. We DON'T want to face the Spartans...they are very underrated.

Salty Dogs, Hashishim, and Husker Maniacs we have not yet played, so therefore I don't want to play them in the first round. Simple reason: Better to play what we know and have proven we can beat than play what we don't know.

I want to face the #8 team because that means we have home field though out the playoffs.
