Is it too early to talk about possible pro bowl nominations? What kind of system do you guys want to use for the process?

I don't think it's to early at all....

Each team should nominate some of its players and then as a group the league should vote on the nominees.

You could just use league leaders. For example halfway through ishak wanabe our HB leads the League in Yards/TD's

This is probably a good place to start, coupled with the league leaders.

would need to set parameters if a team is nominating (2 offense, 2 defense, 1 ST) or whatever

I don't think league leaders would quite work. Some teams run up the score on cupcake teams and could get their guy well above a player that was actually solid all year round. I think the best would be to nominate a couple players from each side of the ball. Once each team has done that, the Coaches will vote for who should be where, but never for their own players.

I'd say 2 offense, 2 defense and 1 special teams like Glenn Williams said.....

On second thought, I think Max may be right. Probably around game 12 or 13 would be a better time to start thinking about it....

A lot of stats will change over the 2nd half of the season, I think its too early.

Agreed a lot of teams have either had a hard schedule so far, a really easy schedule or a few hard and a few easy. In order to see who really is the stand out guy they've all got to play eachother.

Yes, each team does play every team, but some teams have different sub rates so that when they play a cupcake team they don't blow them out of the water and destroy their players energy for next game.
