Here are the stats for the best 8 QBs at the half way point. They also all lead the league in something. What u have to do is to decide who is the best. I am being biased but i think Shogun smith is the best when u look at his stats.
The last thing at the end is QB rating
Games Yds Comp Att Pct Att/G Yds/G Yds/Att Yds/Comp TD Int Hurried Sack QB Rating

Next Big Thing 8 1967.5 176 304 57.9 38 245.9 6.5 11.2 10 7 16 9 78.7

String Bean 8 1959.5 218 395 55.2 49.4 244.9 5 9 6 9 41 13 64.3

Daniel Nilsson 8 1915 170 246 69.1 30.8 239.4 7.8 11.3 12 2 3 2 105

Iwin Usuck 8 1841.5 162 275 58.9 34.4 230.2 6.7 11.4 20 3 5 2 98.8

Sammy "Slinger" Davis 8 1772.5 227 371 61.2 46.4 221.6 4.8 7.8 6 6 25 11 71.6

Brady Badazz 8 1766.5 162 238 68.1 29.8 220.8 7.4 10.9 11 7 2 1 92.9

Shogun Smith 8 1703 162 231 70.1 28.9 212.9 7.4 10.5 13 4 7 2 102.8

Trent Walker 8 1643.5 143 269 53.2 33.6 205.4 6.1 11.5 13 2 5 3 84.9

As u see my QB has the best QB rating but against Good teams he doesnt go so well so i have to change my vote to Shogun Smith

I think every knows that I am normally pretty quiet on the boards here, but I have to stick up for Shogun. I do not think that having a 2.2 QB rating advantage constitutes being "easily the best QB rating". Also your team has played two other teams that are above .500 and your stud QB went:

14 for 31 45.2% 124.5 yards and 0 TDs 0 Ints, 56.5 QB rating vs. Danzig
15 for 24 62.5% 135.5 yards and 0 TDs 1 Ints, 60.3 QB rating vs. Brussels

I am not trying to stir stuff up in here, but I really couldn't let this go without a response.

Also, just to be clear, I am not saying Shogun Smith is the best QB in the league, I just don't think it is the landslide victory for Daniel Nilsson that you make it out to be.

NBT! NBT! NBT! Not only the best throwing QB, but also the best rushing QB.

He has rushed 13 times this year for -30 yards

Man thats b/c they count sacks loss towards the rushing total. If you get rid of the sacks he has 12 rushing yards, and thats only b/c we don't run with him this year.

Last year though; 203.5.

I'm pretty sure football does not, has never, and will never, have a mid-season pro bowl. Therefore voting on what player is the best at the halfway point is fairly meaningless.

And considering this little thread has been started by our league's biggest chest thumper, it has even less value.

Light it up tomorrow against WYW and maybe I'll give Nilsson his due. But I suspect, just like he did in your earlier loss, that he'll have more picks than touchdowns.

That's about right.

Again, this forum would be better off if the OP just stopped posting.

A player's only as good as the people surrounding them. Both QBs are good. The second half of our schedule is where things get tougher for us, starting with you guys.

I'd wish you guys luck, but you don't need it. We won't be making the same tactics mistakes we made against Brussels. I do hope to keep it respectable against you guys. We have a tall task ahead of us. Hard to beat a team with great talent, and game planners.

If he's so good, you'd think you'd use your passing game more when you play your strongest opponents -- its pretty easy to pad your stats vs. the softies

I have watched QBs alot more this season. This is the first year were our Leveling methods have let the rum runners field a real offense. i have been really happy with Mal Ren's season, I think he does well for what he has to work with around him.

I think the best QB in the league is Daniel Nilsson.
