id love to see how many other people NOT on the wildcats agree with all that storm60 says. (i use the word 'says' in that its the closest thing to describe what comes out of his arse)
are we really too harsh on the wildcats? do they not deserve it? is storm60 doing all he can to improve public opinion?

and by the way, it might just be a british thing to make jokes all over the place. dont take it personally. we just hate you.

See what happens when you try to keep things civil? I was asked to limit my comments in certain threads (because apparently some take season 4 talk seriously) and so I did. I guess things have been looking pretty grim over there at Bow Street. So they did what anyone would do, they decided to rattle someones cage. Now this guy wants to get some kind of public opinion poll about me. Im not sure if he even knows what his point is, but there you have it.

I have absolutely nothing against the Wildcats.
I'm sure the rest of the team are decent guys.

As much as I hate to say it, I think our game is going to be a toss up. It looks like we have a slight edge (the nearly useless matchup comparison agrees) but not nearly enough for anything to be garunteed. Of the 7 games we have in common the results were the same, the spreads may have differed but mostly not by much.

Let's face it, both of our teams have sucked this season. This game is a grudge match between losing teams just for ego, to see who is the bigger loser. If there wasn't any drama in the forums no one would care what the result is.

Good luck to us both, may the team that sucks less not lose.

you would be right, except both teams still have a shot at the playoffs. Call me optimistic but 500 might be enough to get to the dance.......and I think my team can get there. I hope you still do too, it makes the match up more compelling.

To quote another forum I frequent: "Sauce" is not a verb. Attatched to Awesome or weak as it may be. I think you're trying too hard. The last one is kinda ironic, considering that its a name more often applied to you rowdy colonials.

Not true sir, you did manage to insult my owner and it was intentional. The insult was on purpose, just because you hit the wrong target doesn't mitigate it. The ignorance defense only works for Pedro Guerrero (look it up).

Okay just for the fun of it, and to make this thread about more than mudslinging, lets go over an estimate of who will have the right to lose to the first plase team. (I'm making the not necessarily safe assumption that any of these teams will win agains places 13-16.

Lyon Breakers - 0 games out of 8th
major matches left.
Glasgow, South Yorkshire, Limerick, Southriding, Bow Street, Walthanstow
Conclusion: Would have to win 2 of the above to end with a record of 8-8. Possible places for them are Glasgow, Bow Street, or Limerick. Hard to judge on Walthanstow, but seems like a strong team.

Bow Street Runners - 1 game out of 8th
major matches left
Cork City, Belgian, Marseille, Ikk Fu, Lyon, Dublin.
Conclusion: Would have to win 3 of the above to end with a record of 8-8. Will lose to Ikk Fu and Marseille, other games can be won, but 3 of the 4 left will be hard. Cork City or Lyon could take us out of contention.

Sweden Army - 2 games out of 8th

I think Lyon is still in the best postion to take the spot. A win against Bow Street, and then either Limerick or Glasgow and they get the 8-8. Any of the other teams need to be nearly perfect with the remaining games to catch up, and even then will probably have to beat Lyon by tiebreaker.
