Week 8 - Eastern Europe AA#4 Power Rankings *Official*

This week's rankings have been censored by our Glorious leaders to the Far East, China.

Moontayles disclaimer:
None of these rankings are done by 'feel' or 'intuition'. I use straight up math and when Excel is done sorting them, that's how I rank them. It's as fair as I can mathematically make it (except in the case of LBT, where i just input any numbers that look good and make their ranking go up). If you have any questions or comments feel free to mail me.

So, without further adieu, here are your week 8 OFFICIAL Eastern Europe AA#4 power rankings.

Otega's Game of the Week
My pick for game of the week this week features the Zeta conference. We have the hottest team in Zeta, Prague, squaring off against the greatest 2-6 team ever assembled in Sydney. Now, we've all seen Sydney play every team tough this season, with a big upset in Week 5 against Longreach. However, Prague has been on a 5 game tear, with wins against the likes of Hat Creek, Longreach and just last week, London. This is going to be a battle. And honestly, i'm not sure who to pick.
My pick Sydney, in an upset, 31-27

Power Rankings:

1) Krakow Cows (8-0) Last Week (LW) - UC (59.17)
Still undefeated, still #1. A fairly easy win against Fehervar this past week. International will be looking to try and knock the Cows off their thrown, with Moscow right behind them the following week. They're just good.
Last Game at Fehervar, W 48-14
Next Game vs. International

2) St. Petersburg Storm (8-0) LW - UC (40.62)
St. Pete is auspiciously quiet this year on the forums. That scares me. They just continue to roll, with a dominating performance against Sydney this past week. I'd really like to say they are up for a "let-down" performance, but i just don't see that happening. This team is just too good.
Last Game vs. Sydney, W 34-10
Next Game at Volgograd

3) Lowell Bengal Tiger (7-1) LW - #5 (23.60)
Another hot team in Alpha, LBT has now reeled off 6 straight wins, scoring 30 or more in each game. However, they have yet to be tested at the level they will this week, facing the NISSA Dauphins. Look for this to be a tight game and LBT's first test of the season.
Last Game vs. Athens, W 52-7
Next Game at NISSA

4) The Look (7-1) LW - #6 (19.62)
After their loss to at the hands of St. Pete, the Look have gotten back on track with a tight game vs. Volgograd and 2 relatively easy games at Subotica and Orange blood. Another gimme this week before they move into an extremely tough back half of their schedule, playing perennial playoff teams all the way until week 16.
Last Game at Orange Blood, W 64-0
Next Game vs Transylvania

5) International Players (7-1) LW - #7 (16.80)
International is off to a great season this year, firmly entrenching themselves as one of Alpha's elite teams. However, the biggest test of the season is this week, as they head to Krakow. Will they just put on a good showing, or can they do the un-thinkable and actually milk the cows? We'll see!
Last Game vs. Chernobyl, W 77-0
Next Game at Krakow

6) Moscow Vandals (7-1) LW - #10 (16.65)
Moscow moves back up the rankings again, with an impressive drubbing of the Lynxes. At 7-1, they are making a strong case to be considered as a top playoff contender. However, they face a tough 2nd half schedule that start with Warsaw this week and ends with LBT in week 13.
Last Game vs. Leicester, W 62-21
Next Game at Warsaw

7) NISSA Dauphins (6-2) LW - #11 (12.39)
NISSA stands as the best 6-2 team in either league, at this point. And since their loss to the Vandals in week 5, they've reeled off 3 straight wins against top alpha teams. However, this week is a big test for NISSA as they face the Tigers of Lowell at home. Can this be the game where NISSA makes a statement? Or will the veterans of LBT be too much for them?
Last Game at Moscow Bears, W 34-27
Next Game vs. Lowell Bengal Tigers

8) London Headhunters (6-2) LW - #4 (5.96)
If NISSA is the best 6-2 team in the league, LHH is right behind them. A tough loss to Prague this past week has pushed them back down the rankings. However, it should be noted that the combined margin of victory in their 2 losses, was 7 points. This team is a fine, and will make the playoffs for sure. They have at least 3 easy games in the second half, that should help them right their ship.
Last Game at Prague, L 14-15
Next Game vs. Haguenau

9) Moscow Bears (6-2) LW - 13 (5.75)
Moscow, after winning 6 straight since their week one loss, finally had their luck run out against NISSA this past week. In what as a very good game, NISSA edged the Bears by 7 to take the win. Don't let that fool you. Moscow has a good ballclub and will get a reprive this week at Chernobyl before hosting the Cows.
Last Game vs. NISSA, L 27-34
Next Game at Chernobyl

10) Prague Panthers (5-3) LW - #3 (5.34)
Wow. Prague has been saying it all season, and no one was believing it. But THIS is a strong football team. An extremely impressive 1pt squeaker over LHH this past week pushes Prague up into the top 10 for the first time this season. They have 2 tough games coming up, before getting a bit of a break. Look for Prague to make some serious noise, as the 5 game winning streak, combined with the win versus London has now put them firmly on everyone's radar.
Last Game vs. London, W 15-14
Next Game vs. Sydney
