Week 1: 7-1
Week 2: 8-0
Week 3: 7-1
Week 4: 5-3 (UGH!)
Week 5: 6-2
Week 6: 8-0
Week 7: 6-2
Season: 47-9

Game of the Week
Marseille Argonauts at Glasgow Lions
This one is as much a coin flip as anything, as far as I am concerned. Both teams are playing great football and showing a great level of contention for playoff time. 8 more points, and the Lions would be undefeated. Conversely, the Argonauts have suffered a couple pretty big losses. That would give Glasgow a big edge... had they played and beaten either of those 2 teams.

Both offenses have the capability to get things rolling in this game. I feel they both have a slight edge over the defenses they will be facing. However, i don't feel the Defensive Depth of the Argonauts squad is going to be up to the challenge. If Glasgow gets a lead, I expect them to keep it. And if they are not far behind, they are very capable of easily regaining control in the 4th. So I pick Glasgow in what could be a very exciting game.

Lyon Breakers at Belfast Commandos
This Belfast team is going to prove to be too much for Lyon to compete with. Lyon has the capability to beat "better" teams with good gameplanning, but Belfast definitely has the gameplanning ability to go along with their talent. They won't in this one by 50 or anything, but I don't look for it to be decided in the 4th.

Belgian Beers at South Yorkshire Stars
Well, the Beers are a good, respectable team, but I don't think their defense can contain the SoYo offense. This is another one that probably isn't going to be a total blowout... but it should be a pretty safe win for the Stars and one to get out of the way for the Beers.

Cork City Wildcats at Southriding Sting Rays
Now, I don't want to offend anyone when I say this. I would hate to hurt someone's feelings by not saying enough kind things about them. So i will adjust my usual approach. Cork City is going to play a beautifully-executed game with the most talent and raw power you can possibly show on a field without actually winning. It will be the best loss anyone has ever seen, and the world will rejoice.

With that said, the Rays are coming off another good win, and will look to continue that this week. Cork has the capability to stop it, but the Rays have been firing on all cylinders and are likely going to be too much to stop.

IKK Fu Rabid Mutineers at Belgrade Bulldogs
IKK is out for blood after their first loss of the season. I don't expect they overprepared for this one, as some teams would coming off their first loss. But whether they did or didn't... they will still win this one commandingly. Bulldogs have some good pieces, but they just don't have the whole puzzle just yet. Their best hope seems to be limitation rather than victory for a game like this.

Reykjavík Lazytowners at Snuggles Vikings
Well, the Vikes are rolling again and have found a groove. They are facing a Lazytowners team that hasn't shown much of a reason to worry about them, thus far. I look for Snuggles to capitalize on a huge personnel advantage and dominate this one by force. With little opposition.

Sweden Army at Bow Street Runners
Now to prove I am showing no favoritism: Bow Street Wins this one in the worst possible game you can play and still win. It will be the ugliest and most disgraceful and shameful victory ever attained in GLB.

Somebody's Gotta Win
Spaniard Warriors at Port St Lucie Knuckle Dusters
Well, chalk one up for the home team this week as I expect the Knuckle Dusters to walk away with their first victory of the season. That spaniard defense has proven to be a bit on the ineffective side, despite an offense very capable of putting up points. Both of these teams would not be winless in a lot AA leagues, but it's beyond control. Congrats to the winner for a well-earned morale boost.

Hey don't count us out yet. I think we have proven that we are more than capable of losing any game, against any team, on any day...

Did you really want to call down the thunder like that? I'm not trying to be more cleaver than anyone. I end up being more cleaver than (lets say for example) you, by default really. It's not real difficult to beat a one legged man (or in your case) no legged man in an ass-kicking contest. You know, you try to take a more diplomatic approach and be a little nicer, see what happens? People who just cant wait to get verbally raked over the coals start throwing my name around.

Ok Bolt before this gets out of hand, I would ask you to stop......look at this as an intervention......I only have one question. I hope you come up with the right answer and stop before it's too late. here's the question.

THIS IS THE KIND OF THING ASMODAN DOES (GRANTED WITH LESS STYLE AND LESS OF A SENSE OF HUMOR), DO YOU REALLY WANT TO BE THAT GUY?

I'm only saying this because you gave us props early on and I would hate to see a war of words escalate out of control over a misunderstanding. You usually dont insult the teams while giving your analysis (and i dont feel you insulted us either), thats admirable don't start now......

AS I SAID DONT BE THAT GUY, THIS CONFERENCE ALREADY HAS ONE TOO MANY.........

I WOULD ALSO ASK MY GUYS TO CHILL OUT, IF WE'RE GONNA PROVE ANYTHING WE ARE GOING TO PROVE IT ON THE FIELD.........BESIDES WE HAVE MORE PRESSING FISH TO FRY.

Oh my God!! Not your momma jokes! I heard that's what Einstein resorted to when people questioned his theory of relativity. There is simply no way to show what a brilliant, witty person you are than to jump straight to insulting someone's mother. I concede. You have proven that you are the cleaverest [sic] person on this board. After your last few comments, I don't think I have anything left to say that you didn't say better yourself.

Considering you have NEVER had anything to say.......and obviously didn't read what I wrote to begin with*, I'm not surprised. Come to think of it this may be a first! I didn't think it was possible to simultaneously prove what witless bag of doorknobs you were while trying to prove the same about me. Congrats. I like to see firsts.

*See you have to read all the words, in order to get what someone is saying. As painful as it often is, I read all of yours Before I respond. That way I don't feel like a douche when I realize, someone used a bad joke to set up a good one (although there's not much chance of that when reading your posts).....you know the feeling im talking about? kinda like what you're feeling right now.......unless you already stopped reading and started typing again.....but you wouldn't make the same mistake twice, would you?

Who Don? I think your intent was to talk about me, yes? you summoned all your wit, focused your razor sharp mind on this and then promptly stepped on your own junk while simultaneously sticking your foot in your mouth!

First of all your retort was about as intelligent and thought provoking as "neener neener"!

Second and more importantly, I don't own Cork City!

Here's a piece of advice, you had better stick with me, because really you are no match for either of us. At least if you're only dealing with one of us, there's an outside chance that you'll only get embarrassed, rather than being mortified to the point of tears. Don hasn't said crap to you, in fact, I'm not even sure he knows who the hell you are. Even if he did, I doubt he'd care (although he might now).......man learn to read, fact check before you come off looking like an idiot.........oops too late.

Smarter people would have realised theres something wrong with them, when they have managed to get 2 predictors to insult them.
On the other hand, you still are talking about proving it after allready having proven i was correct multiple times.
I think Daefaroth hit the spot with his supposed joke.

I wasn't aware that Bolt had insulted me.....Bolt did you write something about me that I didn't read? Yeah I didn't think so either. wow I guess i'm not as smart as you Asmo, because you can read things that arent even there while totally ignoring what is.....that's an uncanny ability. By the way, Smarter people would know how to read......

and yeah you're a great predictor alright. too bad you couldn't see your own fate coming. you might have been able to, Oh I don't know, do something about it. I don't remember, where did you say you were going to be at this point in the season? did you see yourself behind us in the standings? Since you seem to have a genetic thing about being right this must hurt worse than being kicked in the nuts by a mule. In the immortal words of Christopher guest "How marvelous........"

I sit corrected. I should have written GMs the Wildcats. I apologise to the owner.
