I think as the owner of the 1-6 Seals, thanks to most of you I am about to rank, I am emminently qualified to list what I believe are the current power rankings in the upper portions of the "Much Harder Than Alpha, Zeta confererence".

I am not just going by scores versus the teams but by what I think from scouting them and reviewing the games....but it is still just an opinion:

1. Tasmania Tigers.....In spite of the close win against the Vampires early in the year, and me not knowing the boost situation for either team, I think the Tigers are a little bit better than the Vampires. I do think this is the conference championship game as seen in week 2. Just two well built teams....no holes.

2. Wollongong Vampires.....The Vamps winning the conference would surprise me not the least. I would look at them and the Tigers as 1 and 1A really. Both teams run/pass well and defend both equally well.

Now it gets a bit more interesting....

3. Newcastle.......Havn't played them yet, but from what I have seen, they are an impressive team and I would put them as the dark horse for the conference championship.

4. SAFSjerbia......I think they beat Hattrik 9/10 times, but they didn't do it this time and Hattrik got a well deserved win. That being said, I think the SAFS will make some noise in the playoffs, but I also think they are a notch, below the first 3 teams. Just a very small notch mind you.

5. Huli.........I think you could throw the Warriors and Vanuatu in a barrel, a big one, shake them up and you wouldn't be able to find much difference in team quality. Both very solid teams who will outlast the SAFS for a home game, but I think both are just below the SAFS in power.

6. Vanuatu.......To make this one easy.....What I said about Huli.

7. Hattrik.......I put them and Chillicothe in the same category. Teams that are good and getting better, but a notch below teams 1 through 6. Hattrik has started a brutal stretch of 7 games (2 down, 5 to go) that will tell a lot of where they stand. Nice job guys....but work to do.

8. Chillicothe.....See Hattrik above.

The second half of the season should be fun to watch. A lot of the rankings are skewed due to some extreme differences in scheduling. Below are my final standings/records prediction:

1. Tigers 16-0
2. Vampires 15-1
3. Minotaurs 13-3
4. Warriors 12-4
5. SAFS 11-5
6. Volcano 11-5
7. Hattrick 10-6
8. Convicts 9-7

I wish I could put Hattrick/Convicts at 8-8 or 7-9, but I really can't. Things are not looking good for the Seals playoff aspirations....but we will keep working....an upset of Newcastle in week 15 would sure help us....hmmmmm

a lot of this stuff will depend on the boosting situation of everyone come playoff time. I have no idea who has and who hasn't boosted. Its not like we need to know because there isn't a damn thing to do about it, lol.

Great workup. I see nothing I would change other than the fact that the Vamps are better than the cats. Our jocks just itched that game for some reason.

Thanks flanman....and make sure you let your guys know I was only kidding about upsetting you guys in week 15....really....only kidding...but hoping like a big dog!

I know the Tigers have mentioned they are holding their boosts....not sure on the Vampires.

I just wonder if the SAFS are holding theirs....they were so dominant last year it wouldn't surprise me at all if they were holding out.

I'll be completely honest...we don't have a TON of boosting left, just some in the right places

SAFS has not boosted, but I'm not sure they can/will either...not too many of them even have custom equipment...so it looks unlikely that they boost ending the season. If they do, we will ALL be in trouble.

Vampires will get lucky to beat us on our home turf....as we will have them on our field in the playoffs if we play them for the Championship.

Newcastle has boosted, they didn't make THAT many signs to get almost even with us in levels this past season...I would expect them to make some waves...but we shall see in this upcoming late season stretch

I would still put SAFS 3rd as I see them beating Newcastle.....will see though.

Good job Mald.

Home turf meant diddly Neo. Everyone who played away between us you and endzone, won the game, everyone who hosted, lost the game.

Hmmm, I wonder if maybe the better team won?? Yeah, I think so....home field won't matter when the team coming to your house is just better lol.

We shall see what home field means when you all have to roll through "The Jungle" in the playoffs

Great job MAL. Yes I have to agree with Neo, IF SAFS all boost come playoffs they are for sure #1-#3 team.

At this level, player levels don't make that big a deal and the Mino's Detroit 2 defense makes a Tampa 2 look as organized as a retarded monkey shyte fight. We stuff halfbacks like a fat kids stuff cupcakes.

I'm pretty sure ding said that they were holding off, but I'm not 100 percent sure.

My entire point is that the game puts no advantage to playing at home, opposed to what you're trying to infer.

Actually, you're reading too much into it....I'm not trying to infer that there is some code written into the game that allows for us to play better b/c we're at home...

I'm simply talking trash, maybe you could read it that way and stop being a noob.

You know "Try coming into my house" kinda thing?? Yeah..
