Same as always, not doing my own game:

Port Moody Megalodon vs Memphis Maulers - Wow, Port Moody does not like loses and they have showed it to every team they have played since their one loss. They have averaged over 39 points a game over the 4 game span and only give up an average of 10 points a game. The Maulers are holding on to the last playoff spot right now but just had their 2 game winning streak snapped last week by the Wolf Pack. This game will be very close until the opening kickoff. The Port Moody football machine continues to run on high octane and wins this one 44 - 7.

Gaffney Indians vs Québec City Dirtbags - The Indians are another team in the West with only 1 loss. The Dirtbags scare teams on paper but sometimes have trouble carrying that down on the field. The Indians are riding a 3 game win streak while the Dirtbags just had their 2 game win streak snapped by the powerhouse Port Moody. The Dirtbags refuse to let the Indians come in and beat them. Gen. Custer said the same thing before the Indians beat him. Dirtbags lose this one 37 - 24.

Hermitage Perverts vs Listowel Huskies - The Huskies are on a 2 game win streak and are 1 of 4 teams in the West with only one loss. The Huskies have to make sure they are fine tuned because they still have to play all the other 1 loss teams yet. The Perverts new owner got a rude welcome to the league by lossing 84-3 by the Bruins. The Perverts are trying to form a tough team so they can be competitive in this league. He has a lot more work to do yet before that happens. Huskies rip apart the Perverts 107 - 0.

Ogopogo Lake Monsters vs Tradewest Battletoads - The Battletoads stop a 2 game slide by beating up on the Towers. The Monsters was on a 3 game winning streak before the 1 point loss to the Crush. Both teams have winning records but both teams would not make the playoffs if they were to start today. They both want this game really bad and for 3 quarters, it is anybodies game. But the Battletoads pull away late and win this one 37 - 27.

Montreal Raptors vs Thunder Bay Titans - Thunder Bay is at home but with a 3 game losing streak. The Raptors comes to town with a 4 game losing streak with their defense giving up over 50 points in each game. Somebody has to win this game but it will not be decided with 4 quarters. Yes that is right, my OT game of the week has the Raptors pulling it off to win 27 - 24 after the Titans miss a FG earlier in OT that would of won it for them.

Saskatchewan Wolf Pack vs Westwood Bruins - The Wolf Pack have won 2 out of the last 3 games. If they did not start the season 0 - 4, they would be thick in the playoff hunt. The Bruins are home and have a 4 game winning streak going right now. The Bruins are caught thinking about next weeks game again Port Moody and get surprised by the Wolf Pack 31 - 30.

Bologna Towers vs B.K. Thunderbirds - The Thunderbirds host this game but have a 3 game losing streak and only has won 1 game all season. The Towers have not even won a game yet and have not lost by single digit yet this year. This will be a great game to watch as both teams battle it out. But there can only be one winner and congrats to the Towers on your first win of the season 24 - 20.

Winnipeg Wolves vs Canadian Military - The Wolves are 7-0 and are 1 of 2 teams left in the league with no losses. The Canadian Military is 0-7 and is 1 of 4 teams with no wins. This one looks one sided from top to bottom. I predicted the Military to get their first points of the season last week. I was wrong. Not going to make that mistake again. The Wolves win this one like they should 82 - 0.

Puvirnituq Musketeers vs Niagara Assassins - Puvi comes into the game as the only other undefeated team besides the Wolves. The Assassins had their 2 game winning streak snapped by a 2 point loss to the Lightning. Word around the league is Puvi thinks nobody in the East can give them any challange. I also heard rumors that the owner of Puvi has already ordered merchandise with the Canada AA logo on it. All this is a distraction to the Puvi players and the Assassins sneak up on them in this game. But Puvi's game plan is too tough in the end and Puvi wins this one 24 - 17.

Antioch Inferno vs Quebec Quasars - The Quasars are home with a 4 game winning streak and have only lost 1 game all year and that was to the undefeated Wolves by 1 point. The Infernos Come into town with a 2 game winning streak trying to hold onto the 4th playoff spot and with it a home playoff game. The Infernos can play a great game but the Quasars can play it a little better. Quasars win it late 30 - 23.

Hamilton Lightning - Toronto Bobcats - The Lightning got back on the winning track last week after being upset the week before by the Donkeys. The Bobcats stopped their 2 game slide with a mighty victory over limited Military. The Bobcats thinks people should respect their team for the power they have. Lightning shows them that having power and using it properly are two different things. Lightning wins this one 34 - 20.

Halifax Fighting Irish vs S.W.O. Swamp Donkeys - The Irish come into town back on the winning side after a close victory against the Hustlas. The Donkeys had their 2 game winning streak smashed by the powerhouse Puvi. This is the 2nd game in a row that the Irish have had a name change. During the night the moving trucks packed everything up and move from Notre Dame to Halifax just to comply with the league rule about naming your team after sucky college teams . Problem is during the move the equipment manager lost all of the shoelaces. No problem for the tough men of Halifax as they have the trainer stapple the cleats onto their feet. It works because the Irish win this one 47 - 10.

Lincoln Lucky vs Blitzkrieg Bandits - The Lincoln team comes into town with a 2 game winning streak. The Bandits have lost 3 out of the last 4 with the only win against the winless Terror. The Quasars showed the new Bandit owner what it means to play in this league but routing them 58-0. The Lucky team is another one that looks good on paper but having a hard time showing it on the field. Lucky for Lucky that they play a Bandit team that is in a change over. Lucky wins this one 27 - 17.

Sacramento Terror - Lancaster Hustlas - The Terror come into town as one of the worse teams ever in the short history of the league. Not only have they not won a game or even scored a point yet this season, they have given up over 70 points in every game. The Hustlas did good last year and looked like a powerhouse this year winning their first 4 games. But a 3 game losing streak has everyone thinking that the smoking mirrors act is over and they real Hustlas team is now here. Well Lancaster can polish those mirrors at least one more time because they win this one 67 - 0.

Nova Scotia Snakes vs Yellowknife Rented Mules - The Snakes come to town with a 3 game losing streak and have lost 6 out of 7 this year. However the last 2 losses have been by 7 points each and one was against an undefeated team so there is promise of hope that it is turning around. Every game that Yellowknife have been in, it has been a blow out. That would put fear in every other owner if Yellowknife was undefeated. But they only have 2 wins and they were against the 2 winless teams. Rest of the time they are getting blown off the field. This game will add to that as the Snakes take this one 35 - 10.

There you have what I think will happen. Some good games and some little lack luster games.

I am going to look at all my previous predictions to see how I am doing at this. I might not be doing as good as Strom but I am doing a hell of a lot better than anybody else out there BECAUSE IF YOU DO NOT PREDICT, YOU CANNOT BEAT ME.

'Nuff Said

For your information, I was the janitor not the cheerleader. Your hairy cheerleader is one of your actual cheerleaders. Ewwww, I thought they were ugly from a distance .

Thanks again for taking the time to do this.

Not sure if I've said it before, but I've always enjoyed reading these posts. It'll be a sad day if/when Laval leaves the A#2 league and I don't get to read these posts anymore!

Puvi vs. Niagara was an advanced AI nightmare. It burned us not kicking a FG 4th and goal from the 8 and especially them not kicking a FG to win the game from the 3 with <2 minutes left.

Wow, good game Quebec. That was as close as we all suspected.

and dang Muskies. You luckers, you would have lost that one had the Assasins AI just kicked that FG in the 4th

And we would have been ahead by 5 if we had kicked the FG in the same situation in the 3rd :-P

Unfortunately it's a well known bug that I don't want to mess with in my offensive AI. I have some 4th and short going for it situations but apparently it counts any "and goal" 4th downs as 4th and 0 to go. I don't want to lose the 4th and short gameplans because of the goalline bug though.

It is a sad day in the West when Laval can beat the Vancover Crush 49-27 and not feel good about it. It was a hollow victory because of the changing of the guard in Vancouver. I hope they get everything in working order really fast and get back the "toughness" they had before.

We miss the old Crush. Just hope the new Crush can rebound.
