Warrior General Games

Things heat up a bit in Zeta in week 8, with 4 games between potential playoff teams. The Titans play the Gangsters, in what ought to be a tight, tense game. We have the Tokyo Hellfighters and their ridiculously strong rushing and return game. The Fisherman and Buzzards each try and shake off tough losses, and, finally, the Bucks try to maintain another mid-season run against the Red Bulls.

Should be an interesting slate of games.

Buzzards play 4 straight tough games (following the loss to the Bulls) but are excited to be back home.... time to start working on the game plans

Honestly look for Tokyo to lose the rest of their games, they have been blown out by the two playoff team they have played, and have barely won some games against lesser teams. The only remaining game I can see them winning is the inter conference game.

And possible not since they lost to the Warriors in preseason.

According to the sheet, Tokyo is currently favored to beat Taipei in a close game, but projected to blow out Hong Kong. Granted that doesn't make it fact, but Hong Kong's only win thus far was against Van Alstyne... and they have a 1:10 PF: PA ratio.

What exactly happened to Tokyo? There owner and one of their GMs seems to have been inactive for awhile.

Nope, but there is kudos for being one of the few questionably poor sports in our league, .

The Hurricanes have had a rough go of it the past two seasons, but we're getting close I think....I'd much rather quietly build into a contender, than be totally full of myself like this, lol.

Sorry, just a tad bit grumpy and so tired of seeing certain players/owner run their mouths when they have the upper hand, and go completely mute when they get handled.

Oh, and this is one frickin rough league, lol. I mean, seriously, AA? LOL...gotta hand it to you longtime originals here, you've built some real powerhouses.

LOL, you know, it really is rough trying to get the Hurricanes competitive in this league, part of my frustration there, you guys are like a piranha pit here, .
