I understand your frustrations, but remember- this is all based on computer calculations and not my personal opinion. I will give some insight on the rankings and how they are calculated:

You are "number 1" in the conference standings because there are 4 other teams that have the same record as you do, so obviously there is a 4-way tie for first place. You are LISTED in the first position because your team has scored the most points on offense...and the Sand Storm has scored the least OF the 5-1 teams.

The reason you aren't ranked as high in these simulated rankings is because:

1. Darfur has played the 4th weakest schedule so far this year.

2. The opponents that you have lost to aren't considered strong teams in comparison to others. Your lone loss was to a team that is 2-3 other than your game. On the flip side, Durban has 2 losses to teams that are combined 8-2 other than their own matchups.

Does that make a bit of sense? I know it isn't perfect...but as the season progresses, it will make more and more sense with more data.

We scored more and held them to even less, but still a loss is a loss. Next season we will take it all.
