Calumet Hitmen Cartel at Windhoek White Rhinos
The White Rhinos are definitely the team to beat this season as they are still undefeated. Sure they haven't played a lot of the top tier teams but they at least beat one good team. This game will be their transition into a very tough stretch throughout the middle of their schedule which will prove whether or not this team deserves to be undefeated. As for the new Calumet they proved their ownership change was for the better as they upset the favored Billievers. I don't see them winning this one though, not by a long shot.
White Rhinos take the cake 13-31.
Tanzanian Morning Wood at Buckeye Nation
Game of the Week material here. The Nation has gone on a slide facing some of the best teams in the conference, they end their tough stretch here but the game after still isn't against the easiest team. A win will prove that the Nation still have it in them and now that they are at 100 percent they'll give it everything they'll give it everything they've got at home. The Morning Wood won't be easy to beat though...
Duh it's a homer game for me... 21-23.
Mombasa Spears at Burundi Scorpions
The Scorpions look to be the Calumet of last season at least IMO. They seem to be just missing a few key pieces here and there to becoming a contender with the big teams. Not that they already are but instead of 2-3 with some improvements they could be 4-1. The great thing is that they are at max Chemistry but that won't be enough for a devastating Mombasa team that's burning hot. The only team that has their number are the Lions
Final score Spears 34, Scorpions 17.
Cape Verde Kings at Cape Town Billievers
Believe it or not the Billievers took an upset a week ago and look to rebound against an even tougher team. I would have gone with the Kings but some magical mystic force from somewhere tells me to go with the Billievers once again. If I get this wrong I wont listen to mystical forces ever again...
Billievers win at home in a close one 17-19.
Zambia Lions at Zamunda Prince Akeem Joffey
I see the Lions winning this one easily. The Joffey lost last week by a considerable margin to a team the Lions manhandled so I don't see them having a lot of trouble with this team. Still... looking through the conference again I'd have to say the overall competition has been incredibly upped from last season. It'll be tough for some of last season's playoff teams to make it this year.
Final score Lions 27, Prince Akeem Joffey 7.
Niger Mambas at Valla Beach Woolsheds
After winning two games in a row against not so tough teams by a similar score the Woolsheds will face a marginally tougher opponent. I expect a similar score to what they've had the past two weeks except that this Mambas team will score more on that Woolsheds defense.
Final score in favor of the Woolsheds 20-35.
Oum-Chalouba Zebras at Kalahari Vikings
After a tough start to the season by the Zebras they head into the Vikings territory and hope to come out of it with a win. A battle of two lower tier teams shouldn't matter but the Zebras still believe they can pull off something like they did last year, having a bad start but a strong finish to sneak into the playoffs. Like before I don't think they'll make the playoffs but they'll probably repeat that performance. I have the Zebras winning this game.
Zebras 26, Vikings 17.
Madagascar Mobsters at Nairobi Warthogs
Whoa... this is like the best match up of the week. Ok maybe not... but a #15 versus a #16 that are both 0-5? You would think that it might be close but unfortunately the Mobsters were... either gutted or just scrapped. Obviously the Warthogs should come out with the win, anyone should with the current state of the Mobsters.
In an almost irrelevant game the Mobsters lose it 21-41.
Boy do I feel overworked... do I get a pay raise
On a side note Madden 09 on my PSP is giving me errors damnit! Oh well... I'll play the PS3 version...
