Cairo has been a city of drama since the arrival of pro football. This week the world was shocked when Cairo owner Big Will announced his plans to sell the team. The locker room in Cairo has been a buzz all week long and fans are questioning where this move may leave the once powerful Cairo franchise.

Cairo has seen struggles since lossing quickly in last seasons playoffs and this announcement leads many to believe the program is headed downhill. Media sources sit down with Cairo runningback D3 to speak with him on his latest announcement.

D3: As many of you know I have expressed interest in buying the Cairo franchise. Like other players who have invested in pro sports teams I believe I can be a great onfield performer as well as a great owner. I have been in contact with Will since his announcment but nothing is confirmed and will has not anwsered any of my calls. Many fans are jumping ship and I'll be the first to tell you if my ownership plans fail and don't go through I will be looking to get out of CAIRO FAST!

D3 is not being released, or traded! the team will remain together until after the season is over with, we are still a competitive football team, and will continue to get better, we are in no means giving up on this season, it's just not something i want to do any longer! cairo will continue to win, and D3 will build a great team after i am gone!

I don't think that it's the upcoming UN game, but the chance to play Minisink twice this season, just like playing Morocco twice last season. After all, he has another trophy to win.
