Week 5 left the conference with 7 teams with one loss or less, and a 2 loss team (the Red Bulls) that dealt both the Tsunamis and Buzzards their only loss in the season. In other words, the conference is wide open.

Unfortunately for us, we've got another very tough game, this one against Turbo and his Tsunamis. Other interesting and meaningful games this week include 4-1 Chang Mai against the 4-1 Razorbacks, and the Titans vs. the Fisherman, the 4-1 Hellfighters against the charging Red Bulls (who are one game ahead of us in the miserable scheduling run of Titans, Tsunamis, Buzzards and Hellfighters).

On the other end of the standings, the SHTGs get another chance for their first win against the Team Formerly Known As The Laos Wasps, and their new owner.

Should be an interesting week.

Week 6 Matchups/Predications

Tsunamis vs Bulls (14-44)
Hellfighters vs Red Bulls (9-33)
Titans vs Fishermen (31-14)
Gangsters vs Razorbacks (31-12)
Bucks vs Leopards (43-23)
Buzzards vs Venom (120-4)
Hurricane vs Phooeys (44-20)
Tetris Gods vs Drunks (27-20)

EDIT
there are actually 4 games of the week, a bunch of the 4-1 teams are playing each other...with only the Buzzards knowing they will move on to 5-1 (hopefully the Bulls will drop down to 5-1 also)

we have a lot of 4-1 teams, with a lot of 1-4 teams lol. Guess the top teams have been playing the bottom for the first 5 weeks. This means that the last weeks of the season should be really interesting.

I'm really looking forward to playing the Titans. Hopefully we can pull the upset.

wow, Tsunamis are projected to lose that badly. The Bulls are a great team, so we will do our best to put up a good game.

I'd guess that prediction is based mainly on two things: (1) we've already played and beaten three 4-1 teams, and you guys haven't had a chance to play those teams yet, and (2) we beat the previously undefeated Titans by a score that didn't really reflect the closeness of the game. In other words, as much as I'd like to buy into that prediction, it has no real basis.

We played each other last season with similar levels, and it was a very close game. I expect the same this time.

You should have been worried before hand, they've got a heck of a team.

Scoring 120 would be nice after the disappointing loss to the Red Bulls.... it's a tough conference this season with 8 or 9 teams being solid.

Good game, Turbo. Much like our game against the Titans, our game was much closer than the scoreline.
