Warrior General Games

Last season in Africa AA#4, we had a power ranking that included voting by every team. The rules were pretty simple:

1. One vote per team, by some person designated by the owner or the owner themself.
2. Vote for everyone but yourself.
3. Vote for what you know about only. ie. if you don't know a thing about the East because you don't pay attention, then don't vote for that conference.
4. Once per week.
5. Include intelligent comments if desired (votes that make me feel dumber for reading will not be included) and if it's continuous could result in a blocking of PM's.

If you guys are interested in doing this, I don't mind having my inbox spammed by one person from each team each week. If your team is interested, please post here and let me know. If we can generate enough interest and people keep up with it, I'll do the math.

We did something similar to this in USA A a couple seasons.

Sounds good to me, would be cool to see a less biased, collective power ranking done.
What do we need to do to get it started? Should we have the owner of each team PM you showing their interest and naming the guy that will be doing the rankings?

Just keep posts coming here. Be prepared to do one after week 4 or 5 if there is enough interest.

We are always in for things that make the league more interesting.

Okay, sounds like a good start and I'm sure some lurkers will be in, also. We'll do it after week 4, week 8, week 12 and week 16 of the season. That way we'll have an end of season opinion to go with the actual playoff rankings.

Use the rules above and please only send me one from each team and don't include your own team after Saturday's games; I'll get them up sometime on Sunday.

Im not quite sure what you meant riht there but I am pretty sure you meant that the teams that do not vote will probably get higher rankings. This will not happen because I would expect everyone to send in their idea of power rankings minus your own team and then the teams should be added by the most common place a team is put. imo that would work the best.
