Warrior General Games

Week 3 is now in the books and the league is really starting to take shape. I had another great week going 14-2 and I'm now 41-7 (85.4%) on the season. I wish I could pick NFL games this well because I would be RICH!

GAME OF THE WEEK

Sevastopol Wolverines vs Macedonia Marauders

This week's GotW is another Zeta matchup of powerhouses, putting the undefeated Wolverines up against the undefeated Marauders. Marauders come in with 3 solid wins under their belt while the Wolverines come in, after being challenged in a week 1 thriller, have completely dominated their opponents the last 2 weeks. This one on paper looks like a low scoring, close game. I think the Wolverines are just slightly better than the Marauders at this point in the season and think they will run away with the game late.

I've come across a sweet excel macro for Power Rankings. Please don't ask me how it figures it out as it's one of the most complicated things I've ever seen. It's what is used for the USA Pro League so it's definitely of good quality.

There appears to be a little bug in the league predictor. Sevastopol plays Swedish in the last game of the season, so both teams could not possibly be 16-0 for the season. The league predictor has them both winning the game by different projected scores. I guess the tie in between the two divisions doesn't really work well since we only play one out of division game and that's the last game of the season.

Last I checked they still haven't won a game yet. They don't have a HB with 100 yards on the ground for the season - we have two. We've given up 78 points on the season - they've given up 76 points in one GAME.

No reason to get upset, He's just doing a good thing and predicting games for us to enjoy the read. If you don't like what he predicts for your team, prove him wrong. Don't have to get all feisty about it.
