#1 Carolina Hammer 2-0 vs. #6 Canton Hall of Famers 2-0
After convincing wins over NY and the Monkeys, Carolina looks to further pad their resume against a very good Canton team. Meanwhile Canton has 2 wins to its resume, but no statement win and is itching to knock off the early season favorite. Canton is good and expect them to give Carolina a run for their money, but fall short at the end. Carolina by 14.
Carolina 30 – Canton 16
#2 DC Warriors 2-0 vs. #10 French Lick 1-1
After a competitive 17-0 loss to the Care Bears in Week 2, French Lick continues to try and find their signature win to get into the postseason this year. After losing by 1 to DC last year, they think they got the chops to knock them off this season. Meanwhile, DC looks to build on some early season success against Compton and surprising Oregon. Since I can’t pick against my team, I’ll give DC the win by 1 pt.
DC 1 – French Lick 0
#3 Care Bears 2-0 vs. #14 Cleveland Greyhounds 1-1
Care Bears are off to a strong start beating Compton and French Lick and are boasting the coaches from last season’s champs CBMB. Cleveland is off to its best start ever after an early season victory over Cincinnati. At 8 central tomorrow - there will be no winning streak for Cleveland as the Care Bears take care of business.
Care Bears 30 – Cleveland 3
#4 Rock Stars 2-0 vs. #13 Columbus Spartans 0-2
Rock Stars look solid so far with a resume win over Orlando while Columbus lost easily to the Monkeys and Canton. Look for Rock Stars to continue with a solid win today by 30
Rock Stars 37 – Columbus 7
#5 Dogg Pound 1-1 vs. #12 Colorado Storm 0-2
Orlando is still smarting from their week 1 loss against Rock Stars and are looking to score a dominating win over Colorado. Colorado is trying to regain its former glory, but until they get some depth they’ll be hard pressed to remain in the playoff hunt. Look for the Dogg Pound by 17.
Dogg Pound 24 – Storm 7
#7 Eleven Wise Monkeys 1-1 vs. #11 Oregon Ducks 1-1
The ducks are 1-1!!! After a shocking upset over heavily favored NY, Oregon looks to continue the streak vs. the Monkeys. The Monkeys have other ideas though as the Carolina loss still leaves a bad taste in their mouths. Look for the Monkeys to take care of their business and win by 17.
Monkeys 20 – Oregon 3
#8 NY Steel Heads 0-2 vs. #15 Compton 0-2
The NY locker room is in disarray after an 0-2 start to the season and a disastrous game against Oregon. Word on the street is that D. Hall has demanded a trade to the Warriors and E. Smith is threatening a holdout unless they start winning soon or he’s traded to West Bend. Stone’s DUI Arrest only further adds to the turmoil on this team. Compton meanwhile is reeling after losing by a combined 80-3 in the first 2 weeks. Look for Claystone to calm down the locker room and get back on track with a 20 point win.
NY 27 – Compton 7
#9 West Bend Warlocks 1-1 vs. #16 Cincinnati Slaughter 0-2
West Bend is looking to improve on its 8th seed in the playoffs last year, but a 28 point loss to the Dogg Pound last week has them second-guessing themselves. The Slaughter are off to an inauspicious start but need to get rid of those cpu players soon. Look for West Bend to regain some confidence with a 37 point win today.
