Akihabara Anime All-Stars (2-0) vs AZ Knights (0-2)
Despite having put together a solid squad the Knights are struggling a bit in the early goings of the season, while the All-Stars are currently living up to their name. Can the Knights shore up their defense and break down what seems to be an impressive offense, or is Akihabara all hype?
Well, I'm biased here, but All-Stars 41- Knights 7
Prague Sharks (2-0) vs Shannon Shammin' Cocks (0-2)
Prague has quite an impressive squad lined up on their roster, Shannon not so much. If you like high scores, this is definitely one to watch. Prague could easily put up 80 or more this game, it's honestly no contest.
Sharks 80+ - Cocks 0
The Red Army (2-0) vs Spartan Hoplites (0-2)
The Red Army is unboosted, undefeated, and unperturbed as they go up against the Hoplites this week. It's gonna be like fighting the Persians all over again for the Hoplites this week as they're just completely outclassed on both sides of the ball. Expect the Red Army to continue their march across Zeta with the Hoplites falling in their wake.
Red Army 49 - Hoplites 10
Mukachevo Coyotes (2-0) vs Long Island Legion (1-1)
This is going to be the game of the week in my opinion. The Legion dropped one to the Red Army in week 1 and came back with a great win over the Bobcats in week 2. The Coyotes eeked one out against the Bulls in week 1 and crushed the AZ Knights in week 2. Both of these teams are solid, but if the Legion's defense headed by Darnell Docket is able to 1) Stop ChristoPher Sing321's fantastic running and 2) can get by the Coyote's impressive Center Elsa Bloodstone and rattle QB's Chicago Jarufe's cage a bit, the Legion has a definite shot at an "upset" victory.
Coyotes 17 - Legion 20
Warsaw Eagles (1-1) vs South London Cowboys (1-1)
Both of these teams have bounced back from big losses to win out in week 2. At first glance, Warsaw's offense doesn't look that impressive level wise, but then again, the Cowboys defense is even less so. Defensively Warsaw is pretty solid, and in turn, the Cowboys Offense is also well staffed. Should be an interesting game to watch, but I have to go with the team with the better looking defensive squad.
Eagles 24 - Cowboys 17
Kharkiv Cossacks (1-1) vs Bangor Bobcats (1-1)
These two teams match up pretty damn evenly. The Bobcats are coming off a loss to the Long Island Legion while the Cossacks are coming off a loss to the Red Army. Kharkiv looked pretty impressive in their victory over Gdansk while the Bobcats finished off the Knights with a touchdown sized victory in Week 1. Expect a close game here as these guys are just matched up really evenly.
Cossacks 24 - Bobcats 28
Houston Bulls (0-2) vs Nebraska Corn Growers (0-2)
Houston has had a rough couple weeks, losing a heartbreaker to the Coyotes in Week 1 and getting handled by Akihabara in Week 2. However, in Week 3 it looks like they get a break and their impressive squad is set to let loose on the poor Corn Growers of Nebraska. Nebraska looks to be a mix of slow builders with a shot of high level players to hopefully ignite a spark to get them on the scoreboard. Score they might, but the Bulls are gonna gore the Growers this week regardless.
Bulls 52 - Nebraska Corn Growers 10
Gdansk Breakers vs London Silly Nannies
The Silly Nannies may not have the most impressive defense, but their offense is top of the line. Gdansk has some impressive figures on offense and defense, but overall they may be too inexperienced on defense to hold the Silly Nannies offense at bay. Also, as of this writing, Gdansk doesn't have WRs or CBs starting...so with that as a hindrance...
Breakers 3 - Silly Nannies 35
(Sorry about game summaries for 5-8 being shorter than the rest, I'm mad tired, but at least wanted to try doing this before going to bed.)
