Well, if Roy didn't get beat on every play, he wouldn't have to drag everyone down from behind LOL.

No way. We definitely had a bad season last year, but things are looking up. There were some dumb decisions made, like starting the season without a PR/KR, which gave Green Bay the win in the first one. I think with Andy Reid's personal issues being out of the way, and McNabb having another year to heal after his ACL repair, will make a huge difference. The Redskins will suck, and if Eli doesn't come up big the Giants are out of it, their D-line won't get it done as well as last year (they also lost Strahan). The Cowboys look great, but that has to translate into on-field success, they have yet to win a playoff game under Romo...

The whole NFC East is good... hell even the eagles were dead last with an 8-8 record... no other division beats-up on each other so badly. The Eagles D will be good and we'll have some real weapons on offense... but good or bad... we go as far as McNabb takes us this year.

Well, a couple of tidbits I will throw out there.

1) Eagles will have a top 10 defense, if not a top 5 this year. (probably closer to 7-8)
2) Desean Jackson is a player, period. Don't worry about press coverage or being jammed at the line. He gets off line a lot better than I expected. Not to mention if you miss, hes GONE!
3) Booker was a steal. They ran a lot of Westbrook/Booker formations yesterday. When they are both in the backfield, its just too much speed for the defense to handle.

I really think this is the fastest Eagles team in the past 15 years or so.

I agree with the defense, as long as the young LBs can hold their own. I like Jackson, and can't wait to see the impact he has, I heard he may get a lot of downs in the slot. I haven't seen Booker, but everyone compares him to Westbrook so we'll see. Our secondary is amazing, especially if Lito plays! I'm curious to see what they'll do with the crowded backfield though. We have 5 HBs!! Tony Hunt, Buckhalter, Westbrook, Booker, and Moats. I think someone has to go, or get cut and end up on the practice squad.
