I wrote this in response to your forum entry, but then I thought to myself...wouldn't it be more fun for people reading you eat your words if it had it's own thread? My apologies for its duplicity.

Well Salty Dogs, your stadium with 5k more seats played one helluva game, but in the end, our players pulled out a nail biter, 41-24. How does 0-2 feel?

I hope this goes to show you...levels and the numbers on the matchups screen don't mean jack. My lvl 12 HB Micheal "the best in the league last year" Turner went for what 9.1 ypc...your team with the amazing Deuce (lvl 20) went for what...was it -15 yards?

It's all about builds...and we've got great ones. I'm not saying we have hands down the best team in the league...and the rest of all A6 should go Cryboys and pack up...Nebraska and Saskatchewan clearly have hands down the best rosters level wise in the league, only g-men would dispute that if he weren't too busy with his man crush a lvl 15 WR; even then who knows, he still might...

How it shakes out btw the elite teams, however is TBD.

Part of my post was just to fling a little shit and stir the pot, but the other part was a memo that the rest of the league should take note.

Btw, you may want to get your QB checked out for a concussion...8 sacks...Johnny on the Spot was on his back more than a french whore.

I'm excited about it...and I respect your team too much to run my mouth, but we've always played good games in the past; we'll be hoping to replace that goose egg and even the season series.

Dude dont take that win to hart we had a major bug in that game take a look for your self Duce only had 2 carries we went for it on 4th down way to many times in fact i don't even think we punted the ball once

the plan was to go 55% run on you and and we only ran the ball 5 times and you cant say it was because you where ahead because the game was scoreless in the first quarter that game was bugged big time

so stop your gloating because you dont know what your talking about

Wow if you give them a FG for every time in the first half they were within the 20 they would have had 12 more points (14, 14,10.5,3 I took out the one on the 25).

Take away the scores Halfax got in the second half, because of the no punt bug, and you have a totally differnt outcome. (OPP 32/TD, OPP 38/TD)

That's -14 points from Halifax.

36- 27 would then be the final score.

Now they did report a bug like this before, but right now, I can not find it. But I did find the one about FGs;

check your AI under 4th down out of field gold range make sure it's set for punting. myself on offense i don't like the AI's just yet.

Goat is right, we did have some problems with our AI settings...but we're not going to blame the loss on that. We simply got beat...a 3-3 game at halftime turned into a 41-24 massacre and the fact that we always went for it on fourth down (i.e. - no punts, none at all) wouldn't have been a problem if we were scoring touchdowns.

I agree that builds are more important than levels...which is why I'm surprised we're in the 0-2 predicament that we're in. We discovered some significant AI problems during the first game...and thought we had worked most of them out before the second, only to discover a new set. Our HB/FB's ran the ball five (5) times all game, but caught eleven (11) passes between them...I assure you this was not our intention. That said, I don't want to take anything away from the Hashishim and the game they played yesterday...they deserved to win.

That's only a few of your 4th down plays. What about the ones that you converted and went on to score? It goes both ways.
