what about that football game for the sega...can't remember the name of it but you use tthe lions and run barry and just spin your way to the endzone on every play...

Madden 94, I could keep someone to having possession of the ball for 1 play in the entire game. And that was on a kickoff. Other than that, I would score every time I had the ball and recover every onside kick. We used to play for loot (usually $5 a game), it came to the point, I would walk in and fools would turn off the game and put it up. lol.

Thats like Laseeno and I with every version of Madden since it got awesome in '99.

I don't even play Madden much anymore. I'm stuck on ESPN 2K5. I was pissed when Madden bought the rights.

I'd give you a game in any before 2005. My high pressure dime defense is atrocious.

dude...espn 2k series had the potential to beat the pants off madden.

imagine what that game would be like today if they made the same strides forward. madden would be sitting somewhere in a bin getting dusty.

leave it to a giant corporation like EA to ruin capitalism and institute a monopoly.

not gonna complain too loud cuz my son's uncle makes a buttload of music for all the EA sports titles. check out the tracks for madden 07 (he's one of "da riffs") he also did that stat quo song for fight night (2 or 3 i can't remember)

actually it was the league that insisted on it to kill off blitz style games

My defensive mind was never more evident than in Madden, it'd take a miracle for you to score on me Gabe. Has anybody played Madden on PS3 and had fun? I think I'm gonna have to stick to the PS3 for sports games, they kinda dropped the ball in trying to make the graphics too spectacular, I claim unplayable.

yeah but they offered the contract up and it was basically either madden or ESPN and EA had the deeper pockets to pay what the league wanted.

and notice it hasn't stopped the blitz style games? they just change their names and keep goin. stupid nfl.
