After a solid start to the season, it looks like it's going to be a fun and competitive one. Good luck to all teams!

New Jersey Blazes 1-0 @ Los Angeles Extreme 1-0

Well, the Blazes handled their business last week, but it gets a lot tougher here. They don't match up that well with the Extreme offensively and will find it hard to score. LAX dismantled a self-proclaimed elite team, the Lions, last game and look to build on that success. I think they should be able to get to 4-0 pretty easily before they visit the Gold Coast in a great matchup week 5.

Extreme 24 Blazes 3

GOTW 1*Gold Coast Corsairs 1-0 @ African Killer Bees 0-1

The Corsairs are out to prove themselves the league's best and this is a big game to do it in. They are much stronger on paper offensively but the Bees showed last week that they don't back down from that challenge. Even though they lost to the Camels, they outgained them and generally showed themselves to be equals. The GC flashed a dual threat running attack that the Bees should be able to counter. With a few turnovers, they could very well win this game. Unfortunately, I think the Corsairs will prove themselves here and win in a very close game.

Corsairs 17 Bees 13

Russian Tractor 0-1 @ River Styx Jinx 1-0

After a shocker last week, the Tractor look to avoid their second 0-2 start in 2 seasons. The Jinx handled their first opponent and will be a team no one wants to face this season. They hung with the Tractor last season when they faced them and will keep it close again, but do they have enough to beat them? On paper, it's pretty close, but the Tractor have the superior defense by a bit. That should be enough.

Tractor 19 Jinx 10

Somalia Wildcats 0-1 @ Mogadishu Malice 1-0

A very big game for both teams here. The Malice have done their job in Pre-season and in the first game, but now they have a real test. The Wildcats look to bounce back from getting shut out in game one. Teams that are used to winning don't like getting shut out and they'll be ready for this game. Look for the Wildcats to show the league they'll be in the playoff hunt for sure.

Wildcats 27 Malice 13

Mozambique Lions 0-1 @ San Dimas Saints 1-0

The two most interesting game one results match up this week in game two. According to KF's Power rankings this should be a great matchup, but the Lions got dismantled and looked like a joke whereas the Saints controlled the Tractor. If these two repeat their game 1 performances it won't be close. That said, I believe the Lions will fix some of their errors, but the Saints are just better run. With a new found running game, they no longer have to rely on Charles in Charge to air it out. Look out for this team this season.

Saints 27 Lions 14

Lake M'Zumba CANNIBALS 0-1 @ Morocco Camels 1-0

Not much to say here. One of the league's best against one of the league's worst. At least I got the Cannibals name right.

Camels 51 Cannibals 3

Congo Death 0-1 @ Eaton Beavers 1-0

Two teams that look close on paper but have different track records and different starts to the season. Good luck to the Death!

High Plains Drifters 0-1 @ Chicago Wheelhouse 0-1

The only matchup of winless teams but both are not to be taken lightly. The Drifters were dominated in game 1 and the Wheelhouse were put down fairly easily as well. On paper, this is an extremely close match up. It's early but the loser of this game may look back on this game as the reason they're being relegated at the end of the season.

Drifters 17 Wheelhouse 14

Great job, job on the Post, I think you know exactly what the wildcats are thinking and I hope to get out of this hole we got ourselves in early in the season. Does any know how often the Power Rankings get updated?

Ill get a new edition out tomorrow or tuesday morning. Because so much has changed since my preseason edition roster wise as well as all the changes to the game mechanics I decided to wait two games to get a better look at each team before updating them.

you guys might beat the Drifters but the next 8 games on your schedule are brutal. If you guys are better than 2-8, I'd be surprised. Prove me wrong by all means.
