At Lizard Lick, we've decided to employ flames54's infamous "Punt On Every Down" strategy against the Villagers today. In our last preseason game, Austin got as many points off of special teams fumbles as our offense put up all game, so I'm thinking with our new strategy of punting early and often, we're a lock to win every game. League title, here we come!

Man, I have no idea what is going to happen in this game. Last season I could pretty much predict what sort of things to expect, what we needed to do to win, but nothing would surprise me right now.

Yeah, we had the preseason games, but there have been many changes during the preseason and even though I've been stalking Bort to figure out what changes are being made, I haven't seen the results on many of them (like the pass rushing option). Is Ginger Vitis a speed DE? If he is, the result could be anywhere depending on what Bort has done. I could see him getting completely shut down or getting 5 sacks, I am not kidding.

Ginger is an angry DE. I haven't seen any posts that effect those kind yet.

I don't think the pass rushing tactics are actually working in-game yet.

No last I saw they weren't functioning yet. Waiting for that, should be interesting.

SanDiego is very happy we dont have the same start of the season as we did last season. We get to watch how things work for you guys, then act accordingly. Thank goodness.
